I contacted this company via John Lewis regarding a washing machine issue within the warranty period. Their response was excellent—they answered the phone promptly and scheduled a repair visit quickly. Their communication and management leading up to the end were very organized, and the staff were always polite and helpful. Most notable was the engineer, Jason. Not only is he highly skilled as an engineer, but he also provided thorough explanations about the problem and the steps needed to address it. Truly a shining example of professionalism. Highly recommended.

I booked an appointment online for the first available day, and within an hour was offered a same day slot. Usama was knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He helped unscrew move a dryer on top of the washing machine to gain access. He then went through an entire wash cycle to diagnose the problem, and when it turned out there was no major fault, I was charged the diagnostic rate only, and not the full repair fee. Would definitely use again.

"An absolute joke"
An absolute joke.
I booked an appointment in regards to my fridge - Domex took the complaint down - handled the appointment and sent out the engineer. My concern was the back of my fridge wall was completely frozen.
The engineer walked into my property, opened the fridge and immediately stated there is no fault with the appliance and asked for £96.
He spent less than 1 minute looking into the fridge and spent the rest of the 10 minutes asking for £96. I feel I have been completely conned here. Whilst I understand a fee is involved if no fault is round SURELY this fee is only justified once an engineer has spent at least 5-10 minutes carrying out an INVESTIGATION. He did no such thing.
This tells me he knew before he even entered my home that there is no fault. If that is the case and it was SO OBVIOUS, why as a customer was this not explained to me in the context of.
'We believe there is no fault, but if you still want us to come there will be a fee if we are correct'
I called DOMEX and they refuse to provide a refund.
A call out charge is an engineer visiting your property and actually making an effort to look into the problem.
DOMEX simply said they are not responsible.
So the company takes the appointment, records the complaint..sends out an engineer but takes 0 responsibility for an unhappy customer.
Never using this company again.

Excellent service. Booked an engineer visit for a day that was 1st available, got a phone call asking if I would like an earlier date. Engineer called before he arrived and promptly fixed the issue.
Communication through SMS was excellent as well as the tracking and time slot provided the day before.

"Good communication and good work by nice engineer"
The engineer who fixed my dryer, Nayana, was a really likable guy, friendly and efficient. Having diagnosed the issue correctly on his first visit he came back today and fitted the new part to my Miele dryer. It’s all working again - so far so good! Company communicates well throughout from booking the appointment to tracking the engineer’s arrival on the day.
