My washer dryer stopped drying. According to the engineer, the machine was simply overheating. He was in and out in about 10 minutes. Two and a half weeks later, the drying issue is back. But Domex have washed their hands of it already. Apparently I have to pay the labour charge if I want them to come back. Pathetic customer service.

Beware. According to Domex, the "1 year guarantee as standard on all parts and labour" is specific to parts they fit while carrying out a repair. It is completely separate from the visit itself. So if they do a bodge job of your repair and the fault returns, then shame on you for misinterpreting their obviously deceptive wording.

Edit 1/4/25: Just to be clear, this isn't an April fools. My negative reviews here and elsewhere did encourage Domex to send the same engineer back completely free of charge. This time, they seemed to give the machine a bit more attention, identifying a new issue and replacing a part. However, turns out they didn't reconnect the pipe to the condenser, so I had to stop my drying test run half way through, clean up the flood in the kitchen, open the machine up and finish the job myself.
