Has anyone asked me if I want to change the company to marsh group? And is it even legal? I do not agree to this. Take away this piece of junk (PO62YOM) for which I have to pay over 3 times as much thanks to the Dutch interest rate on the loan that The Asset Exchange gave me. In addition, during the contract I repaired the engine myself at my own expense for almost £2000 and the insurance company did not refund me the money. Take this car from my house, I will not pay for it any longer

This company is joke. Car been returned to dealership. Over 4 weeks ago. Marsh are ment to be clearing my finance I’m still waiting as they have already had the advance payment sent to them over 3 weeks ago. By law the minute you receive my car my agreement should be cleared guess what still wait. Email 3/4 times a day get no response. I have had to go a pay for rental vehicles this is my 4th week they couldn’t give a toss. But mark my word they will response to this. Don’t think they realise the stress this has caused not one bit interested in getting this resolved. Can’t wait for your reply !!! apologies as use are very good a this do nothing.

"So disappointed with Marsh Finance"

So disappointed with Marsh Finance. I brought a car just over a year ago, faulty and mis sold, costed me a lot of money to mend the mistake. I asked Mash Finance to cover some of my costs as the fault in the delay return of the vehicle was theirs. The person I was in touch with was Tom, he did nothing! I went forward and made a complaint with Ombudsman, waited 1 year for the decision and thankfully was in my favour and asked Marsh Finance to compensate me. Is been a week since the deadline they had to pay me and I still didn’t hear anything from them, completely ignored my emails. Are you going to pay the rightful compensation Marsh Finance, or will I have to escalate this to court?

"Con Artists"

I had finance from another lender who went into administration. My account was passed to Marsh Finance. I had two payments remaining on my original contract. I confirmed the exact amount outstanding with the original lender just one week or so before it changing to Marsh. Somehow, Marsh Finance have added on a few hundred pound extra to my balance, despite the welcome email actually stating “nothing will change”. Their customer services are a joke and they can’t even transfer you through to their “customer care” team. Quite an ironic title in its self as this company are dreadful. I ended up having to pay the extra few hundred yesterday (over £600) just to protect my credit file from a missed payment. I would seriously avoid using these charlatans.

If I could give this con artists company 0 starts I would!

I currently have a car on finance from them and it has been hassle ever since I started the finance.

I’m meant to receive a code to input into the car once I’ve made my monthly payment. I’ve had to contact them multiple times to get a code and my car has been cut off because this code has not been entered in time due to no fault of my own.

I’ve also advised I’m looking to terminate the agreement that I have after having paid 50% of the car value which is a legal right.


I’ve had no response shock.

Unfortunately I had a missed direct debit in Jan, I called through and Jenny Elton was incredibly helpful, (I made sure to get her name for this review). Allowing me to change my direct debit and spread the cost of the missing payment over the next 6 months, incredibly friendly and helpful, even sharing some nice features of the online portal Marsh now have.

I didn't realise Marsh had such a high rating but can see from my experience it's well deserved!

This company is crooked bought a car from motorpoint Burnley they could not get us credit with a proper lender having had our car written of so just walked away next thing we know they ring just for the sale to say we have got you credit with this brilliant company called marsh finance this is not a brilliant company trust me I lost my job had paid 13 rd of the agreement they sent a company to seize the car that was unlawful they use loan shark tactics I bought the car for 10000 pounds and final agreement was 20000 why was I so stupid it went to court car was repossessed they billed me another 3000 pounds for wear and tear on car after 2 and a half years car was repossessed but after paying over 10000 pounds in payments was ordered by a judge to pay the 13000 left in instalment could not afford that they put a charging order on my house I got a solicitor looked at my agreement to what he said this is not legal no 1 from the company has signed this they then faulted documents to show I had but they still got away with it has the judge just said don’t matter whether you have a signed document you know this is correct this company are totally corrupt please put this business out of business plus the company motorpoint they are just has bad please help put crooked companies like this out of businesses do your own research on this company and motorpoint I’ve just seen there clever tactics with unhappy customers very clever like there solicitor shut this company down I’m going to contact the bank of Dave see what he has to say about your company hopefully put it on tv
