Outstanding company, first class service, nothing was too much trouble, the company are passionate about the work they do, love our new staircase refurbishment, looks really contemporary, would recommend to family and friends.

I must say quite honestly, that Abbott-Wade staircases up till now have been quite excellent. We shopped around and had several quotes for our stair refurbishment.. Abbott-Wade rep advised us, without any pressure. We picked a design we liked and have now paid a deposit. We sincerely hope that the company continue the excellent process up to, and on completion of our stairs refurb,we are confident that they will. We will update our 5 star review on Trustpilot on completion.
UPDATE 19/06/24 Well as I have said, I have said I would update my review for ABBOTT-WADE staircases.
Paddy and Lee came to replace and install our new staircase on the 18/06/24.
Both the joiners were absolutely superb and professional.
Very polite and respectful.
And tided up after the stair replacement was completed.
The work was 100% perfect. The new stairs look fantastic. So, many thanks to Eddie, Ray, Lee and Paddy and all the staff at Abbott-Wade staircases. Very highly recommended.

Recently had stairs refurbished in my duplex flat in E14, London. The quality of the workmanship and design is excellent. I’m really pleased with the results which looks amazing. There was one snagging item to fix, which was done with no quibbling and very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

"Shop around !"

Having read all the good reviews I contacted Abbott-Wade. I wanted a new bannister & spindles on a small stairs & landing. I was a bit taken aback when I spoke to the salesman who said it would be at least £5k. After his visit the best price he could give me was £6770. I wasn’t expecting to have to pay so much considering the original stairs were not being replaced. However I accepted the price. My advice to anyone is to shop around. Visit your local timber merchants who should be able to recommend someone. The reason I am saying this is because a friend of mine has just ordered a new staircase including new stairs, bannisters & spindles for a cost of £1800 plus VAT.
Regarding the quality of my bannister - it is very good. The original fitters did not do a good job & I had to request a further inspection of the work. A very nice guy came out and he agreed & replaced most of the baserails. Happy with the finished result but feel I have paid far too much for it. I appreciate the price would differ depending on choice of materials but such a vast difference & to not include a new staircase just doesn’t seem justifiable.

The gentleman who came to fit the staircase were amazing,everything was perfect and Tom n Adam cleaned up all the mess and left everything neat and tidy .They were wonderful no complaints at all.

"Looking for a stair refurbishment"

Looking for a stair refurbishment. Had a visit from the company, and the quote was very expensive, they were trying to sell me new newel posts when we had recently had new ones. When I said that their quote was expensive compared to others the guy was very rude and basically insinuated I had wasted his time.

I am so pleased with my staircase renovation. It looks fabulous compared to what was originally there. Ellis and Henry did a fantastic job. They were competent, skilled and professional during the whole process as were the rest of the staff I had contact with. Communication from the office was prompt, friendly and helpful at all times. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having work done.
