"Full stair replacement"

We had our full stairs, half landing and all handrails / posts replaced by Abbott Wade. They kept us informed of status pre-installation, surveyed at time / date advised and installed on date agreed.
We are extremely pleased with the quality of both the materials fitted and the workmanship demonstrated. The fitters were polite, kept to time and cleaned up after themselves during and after the stairs were completed. Would highly recommend for this type of joinery work and wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Planning was done very efficiently with good quality information presented and realistic timescales.
Job was measured twice to ensure no issues and on the agreed date the workmen turned up on time and worked very efficiently and with little mess.
We were very satisfied with the workmanship but a couple of days later we noticed a tiny mark underneath the bannister. After one phone another workman arrived and sorted everything with 30 minutes.

We chose Abbott Wade to rip out his work and install a new glass and oak staircase with stringers. The attention to detail was perfect and it has transformed the space. They even returned to correct some damaged paintwork caused by other tradesman after their install, at not extra cost-an excellent experience throughout, with amazing customer service! I don’t normally write reviews but am so pleased with the job that I wanted to put it in writing. From start to finish the experience of dealing with Abbott-Wade was first class and I couldn't be happier with the end result. We had been researching staircase companies for 12 months before we took the plunge, having met with a number of other companies inc. a local joiner and a big national brand, however Abbott-Wade stood out with their friendly but professional approach. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out their way to put us at ease and answer the many questions we had along the way! Our new staircase (oak and glass) has completely transformed our home and I only wish we had got it done sooner. All in all excellent workmanship and a great service - thanks guys, would highly recommend!

It's not very often I write reviews, but I have been so delighted with the new staircase that Abbott Wade installed last week that I just felt I so much wanted to share my recent experience.
From beginning to end the communications were excellent as you would expect from a well established company like Abbott Wade. The finished staircase came out even better than I had hoped for and I am truly delighted with the quality and craftsmanship that this company continually strives to achieve. Nothing is too much trouble and it's clear right from the start that the craftsmen employed by Abbott Wade have been well trained and know their craft extremely well.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company as a highly professional company that manufactures their staircases from design to a fully finished installation.
A first class service that I would recommend to anyone requiring either a new or refurbished staircase.

"Fabulous finish and workmanship"

Fabulous finish and workmanship. Last year we bought a property with a large reception hall. Perfect for a double staircase and gallery (something ive always wanted). with this being a complex build the material and workmanship had to be just right. From the get go the sales rep Baz walked us through exactly what to expect at the end, producing bespoke CAD designs to suit our choice of stairs. We found the fitters Lee and Dan very professional and tidy. we couldn't be happier, our new hall looks amazing. And for this i highly recommend Abbott-Wade

"Top marks"

Excellent company with which to work from the home visit, the surveyor, installation and follow up to some additional work we wished to have.
The local representative was very good coming up with some modern ideas. Because we were undertaking a house renovation Abbot Wade were happy to wait until we were ready for the installation. The two fitters were very hard working and responded positively to our enquiries. The full renovation of the staircase went into the fifth day and we were entirely happy with the work and thrilled with the staircase we now have. Later we decided we required a handrail on the wall and this was all organised and installed within a fortnight. Again the installers were highly competent and gave the whole staircase a look over and made some very minor adjustments to the “varnish” finish without recourse from ourselves.

"Excellent start to finish"

Had a survey done pre xmas when gathering costs/ ideas. The ideas proposed were helpful and prices offered were competitive.
Had the works carried out over the past couple of weeks, remodeling the bannisters and replacing a couple of steps and skirting.
The team turned up on time and were polite and courteous to me and my neighbours.
Left a clean tidy job, and were available to discuss any issues throughout.
