When had a rather dated metal stairway which was letting the rest of the property down and so we shopped around for companies which could supply a wood & glass replacement which would complement the rest of the house.
After speaking with a number of organisations we settled on Abbott Wade and were not disappointed. The chap who conducted the initial survey was thorough and as importantly listened to our thoughts but then made alternative suggestions to give us as many options as possible before we made our final decision.
Once settled the installation date was quickly forthcoming and when the day arrived the technicians were speedy, respectful and left a job which we are totally happy with and make us wonder why we hadn't done it years earlier. We should also add that the price was well below that quoted by other companies without compromising on quality.

I contacted Abbott-Wade for a quotation to replace our old staircase with something more modern. From our initial phone call we were able to speak to a real person, something that is rare these days, and we were made to feel that our custom was important to the company.

A visit to our home was arranged, where we were able to choose the precise style and items we liked best.The whole process was smooth and unhurried, and we never felt pressured at any time. Shortly afterwards we received a fair and very competitive quotation. Initially, we were unable to proceed as planned, but when we did contact the company again, a few months later, they honoured our original quote which we felt was very fair.

The two technicians arrived on time and worked diligently. All work was completed in less than two days. The whole area was cleaned, all waste removed and we were delighted with the end result. My wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend Abbott-Wade should you be looking for a similar staircase installation.

We recently had a glass and oak staircase fitted, so delighted with the look and finish, the installation was excellent and the fitters removed all the previous 70’s style under stairs cupboard which shows off the lovely sleek and modern look. We ordered a glass and oak staircase from Abbott-Wade as the centrepiece of our refurbished hall, stairs and landing. From the initial enquiry to completion of the work, the company were a pleasure to deal with. Communication was excellent and clear, with the pricing structure explained in detail, enabling us to make an informed choice.

Jake and Tom the installers were polite, efficient and very tidy, and delivered a superbly finished product in less than day. A minor issue which arose out an oversight on our part was remedied with absolutely no fuss or quibble within a couple of days of our noticing it and informing the company.

In summary an excellent company to deal with in terms of the outstanding quality of both their product and customer service.

"Outstanding customer service"

Had a beautiful glass staircase fitted by Abbot Wade. We were really impressed with the ease of dealing with this company. Their customer service is excellent.
Recently had another workman in to fit a carpet upstairs but unfortunately he caught and scratched the staircase in several places. We contacted Abbot Wade and they arranged for one of their fitters to call round and repair the damage for us. They not only replaced the damaged pieces but didn’t charge for the parts.
Once again their customer service was outstanding

My parents opted for the black steel spindles which are new on the market with Oak staircase. It looks really smart. highly recommended. 5*
