My oak staircase was completed and the finishing detail was first class the glass panels down the stairs and on the landing are perfect. The two installers were punctual hard working and cleaned up every day during the three day work. We are so happy with the product and would have no hesitation in recommending Abbott Wade to anyone.

Our staircase renovation was completed 2 years ago and still looks as beautiful as the day it was completed. It has completely transformed our hallway and everyone who visits us comments on the quality and style of the oak and glass. The service we received was excellent, it is rare to find someone these days who does what they say they will do, when they say they will , but Abbott Wade did exactly that! "An excellent job that has enhanced our staircase"

It's over 2 years since our staircase was refurbished by Abbott-Wade and it looks as good now as it did on day 1. The whole process from start to finish was handled professionally. The workmen did the whole job in a day and left no mess at all. They even fitted an extra bit of skirting board that wasn't on the original order. We are delighted with the work, visitors comment on how good it looks and in my opinion it has increased the value of our house considerably. Thank you.

I can understand your annoyance at the negative reviews you suddenly found giving you no time to reply.

As a family company, I cannot believe you sent out “Poor quality Wood” let alone have your carpenters fit it. Their comments about “Not the glass they sell you” seems odd. Having been through the whole process ourselves, I cannot find a fault with your customer service.

Your designer advised us on how to lighten our hallway as our house is 100 years old and in a Conservation Area. We only have a tiny door window. His suggestion of glass panels instead of painted vertical posts was spot on together with using light oak wood.
Your fitters are the critical members of your company, I know as I use to supply and fit kitchens so I know when a good job is done. The joints were perfect, say no more.

We had our staircase replaced by Abbott Wade 3 years ago, the service from the first enquiry was second to none. Everyone from the company we dealt with were professional, respectful and courteous throughout. 3 years on, it still looks as good as the day it was fitted, it has created a ‘wow’ reaction from most visitors. The lads that fitted it were excellent and left our home clean and tidy every day when they left and did a great job with our lovely oak and cast iron transformation .It has been a real investment and we would highly recommend for a first class job, thank you Abbott Wade

From planning stage through to construction, we were made fully aware of what was possible, what the cost would be and the level of temporary disruption we would face. In fact, we were impressed with how little superficial and decorative damage occurred. Fitters were amiable and helpful and we could not be more pleased with the result.

We had a total staircase refurbishment in August 2022. The salesman came to visit a couple of months before and we agreed the work and cost. A month later the surveyor came to complete measurements.
