"My daughter received a £50 card for her…"

My daughter received a £50 card for her birthday - 23/8/2023. Activated the card 24/8/2023. Has gone to check balance, and whole £50 has been debited on 24th. She most definitely has not spent the balance , so someone must be scamming balances from cards from within the company, or their site has been hacked.
Still have receipt from purchase of gift card, and there is a transaction code next to the debit. Disgusting. Would never purchase again or recommend.

As many others have already said in their reviews, One4All is a scam. I am at the point where if someone gives me one I feel insulted. I currently have 2 cards that I have been unable to load to the app (which doesn't work). One of the cards I managed to land to Apple Wallet but the other won't. The one that won't now has a balance of 15.50 even though I haven't been able to use because the process is so convoluted. Customer service is terrible, app is terrible, product is terrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

"Their Gift cards are scams"

I was gifted a card that was worth 50 GBP how ever the card would decline at every store in Ireland. We assume the reason was that it wasn't in euro. I call customer care and they asked me to reach out on other customer care contact info. I was given the solution to return the card to the person who gifted it ( which was very disrespectful to me) or get it transferred to my bank account with a hefty fee of 7.5 GBP. I agreed to even that and the money never reached my account. My case number is  323105. I asked to transaction details and was manipulate several times and also sent away with never ending deadlines. But no money. My gift card is also blocked. This company is a joke or rather a scammer. Not to forget the endless struggles on the till to pay through the card. True the gift card is not a gift but a torture card... Gift them to those you hate

"AVOID these cards"

AVOID these cards. They charge the purchaser a fee to buy them and then the receiver a monthly charge of €1.45 if they don't use their balance within 12 months, despite their being an Expiry Date of a few years.
Disgraceful and should be outlawed.
I have 2 valid cards and yet the balance has been significantly reduced by monthly fees. Shameful

An absolute scam. I cannotnuse the digital card!

The app keeps crashing, shops hate to see them coming and unless you know the exact balance its pointless.

A "gift" of a one4all is more of a burden.

Ridiculous and time-consuming verification/activation process that involves downloading apps, receiving links, and taking selfies and passport photos once you finally get access to your own card money maybe be gone One4All charged me outrageous monthly fees totalling half the value of the card because I hadn't activated it for a few months. AVOID!!!

Got two of these for my birthday. Tried to pay Irish Ferries for a trip and they kept getting rejected. CONTACTED one4all and their solution was to make a 200km round trip to the ferry port as the machine there will accept them. The only other suggestion they made was to spend them elsewhere.
Oddly enough An Post, the agent, will not accept them as payment for TV license

Wendy was so helpful and not only ensured any ‘lost’ money (monthly fee) was returned from numerous gift cards, she is also replacing expired the cards for me. This is so amazing I am so happy after the difficulties trying to use the cards at B&Q. Thank you ☺️

I was been charged 1200 Euro but i could not use the cards
don't think of buying the card on weekends

Called customer care who could not figure out what was wrong , they mentioned that since its weekend the card is not processed .
After waiting for 3 days , it now shows me transaction cancelled and my 1200 euros have been charged
I got Scammed for 1200 Euros

"Outrageous 'management' fees"

I attempted to use card to make a purchase at TKMaxx Limerick yesterday but it was declined, as was a second one4all card. When I checked balance later I found that card 1 €40 had a remaining balance of €32.75, though I had not made any purchases. I think this practice of making 'management' deductions is highly questionable and would like to know what management is involved If my calculations are correct, the monthly 'management' deduction is 3.625% or 43.59% annually (non compounded). Can someone explain how this can be justified.
P.S. Since the original letter, Luis from one4all has contacted me to tell me that the deductions have been refunded
