"Absolutely terrible gift card scheme"

Absolutely terrible gift card scheme. My daughter was given one as a gift and we have had great difficulty spending it. I eventually called Customer Services from the till point for help and they said the card was a restaurant’s favourites card, despite the physical card I had in my possession being branded as a ‘kid’s favourite’s’ card. They are sending a replacement out but this may take 28 days. They are so difficult to use and spend I would avoid ever buying one as a gift and I hope never to receive one again!

I find it very little places are accepting the all for one cards now. I definitely won't be buying them again. Its ridiculous you are charged to buy it, to check your balance and after 12 months a monthly charge applies. I used to buy lots of these cards as presents but never again now.

I wonder how this case is resolved and commented on as no response has been received from me as a customer.

I have been waiting for 48 hours then and no card has been received.

"One4all cards are a pain in the neck to use"

One4all cards must be THE most difficult cards to use. Lots of places don't take them. You have to phone etc to find out how much is on the card as some shops won't let you use it if you don't know how much is on the card. I believe if you don't use the card the value starts to diminish over time - I sincerely hope I get cash instead of a one4all card this Christmas. I can't understand why anyone would give one instead of cash - what value do they offer???
