"Tailor- making a dream trip"

We are Australian, and I could not find an Australian company that knew enough about Ecuador to deliver the trip I dreamed of. I had seen Happy Gringo mentioned in the Ecuador Lonely Planet guidebook, and was impressed by their website- services provided, blogs and useful FAQ sections. I was even more impressed once I made contact - very prompt responses and enthusiastic support for my ideas. They are happy for me to do some of my own bookings, with airbnbs and specific accommodation that I want, and then to work in and around that to craft a tailor- made itinerary. Not many agencies will do that, I have found.
We are not doing the " standard" tours. We will have 35 days in Ecuador, doing the Andes, Amazon and land- based Galapagos exploring. I was never pushed in a particular direction( like: why not do a cruise in Galapagos) once I made my preferences known, and Jacky, my consultant was equally excited to make it happen. And lest you think this can all happen because we are spending lots of money, our total cost, for 2 people will be about $12500, for 35 days, not including Galapagos fees, but does include inter- island flights, and 3 other in- country flights.
So thanks Happy Gringo for helping to make my dream come true, without breaking the bank!
