"I paid £12.99 to Woofz"

I paid £12.99 to Woofz. A cheery website but it didn't work for me so decided to abandon it. Was shocked to see that £30+has been taken from my account- unauthorised theft! Went into my account to cancel subscription. Couldn't log in because hadn't remembered my password. Password reminder didnt produce a reminder, sent a message and had an automated incomprehensible reply. I suspect fraud and will report it as such tomorrow. I will suggest the website needs to be shut down

I signed up for a 7 day trial of this app but didn’t really find it worked for us. It didn’t show up on iPhone settings as a subscription so I deleted the app. Only to find out a month later. I was charged! I contacted them via email and to he fair, they responded the same day. However, they explained that indeed, the subscription doesn’t show on your subscriptions. You have to log into their web page to see and cancel the subscription. That’s not transparent. It’s down right deceitful. Nothing more than theft. Their email also stated that they have cancelled the subscription for me. Let’s hope they don’t take any more money from my account. These reviews do have a recurring theme of further thefts from customer’s accounts. I will report any further thefts. As fraud!

UPDATE. Following this review, Woofz contacted me and explainer their app uses an online platform and so subscriptions to their app do not show as subscriptions on your device. They are working to improve this and refunded my money. I have therefore elevated my review from one star to two.
