"DO NOT USE SCOTTISH BOILER CARE!!!!"
DO NOT USE SCOTTISH BOILER CARE!!!!! Absolutely shocking that Scottish Boiler Care think it is acceptable to leave 2 vulnerable pensioners one who is a cancer patient without heat an hot water for over a week. Using excuses that their engineer is off sick, then once diagnosed a universal filling loop saying this has to be ordered! There engineers nor there premises carry any parts and everything has to be ordered! Terrible customer service over the phone.

"Still charged after cancellation"
I decided to cancel my Scottish Power boiler cover policy due to the fact that Domestic & General increased the premium by 10% for the second year running and I was not impressed when they came to carry out the annual service.
Upon checking my bank account I discovered that I was still being charged for this policy. I contacted D & G who said they would reimburse by cheque (couldn't or wouldn't send it back to my account). I have since telephoned a couple of times without any success in obtaining the promised refund.
I have contacted Scottish Power direct about this issue but they do not want to know as they say my problem is with Domestic & General direct

"Extremely let down & disappointed"
They supplied and fitted a new boiler for us last year , £3500. 11 months down the line, boiler starts flashing with an error code & the hot water stops working. Called them up , and explained & was told there was nothing they can do. I told them I thought (as the salesman told us) there was a 2 year warranty with the boiler? They said they won’t and can’t help as we didn’t take out their boiler cover (priced at £15 a month) ?! Very disappointed in them, I have 4 young children and now have to fork out , of my own pocket to get the boiler repaired ... something that should be covered under warranty by them! I am looking into this with trading standards. My advice is , use a more reputable company!

"Non existent Service"
I called Scottish Power because I received a letter stating that my Boiler Care Cover will automatically renew unless I call them. So I called to cancel renewal, except they had cancelled the whole Contract! So basically, I currently have no Cover. I asked for a letter to confirm then, that the Contract had been cancelled and they said it is outside their power to send me a letter!!! What a waste of time and Cover that does not exist. I would give a zero star rating if I could. They subcontract their work to Domestic and General anyway and that Company employs local Companies. So the standard of service, when they have come out in the past, has been really shoddy.

"This is a shocking company - do not use"
This is a shocking company. They do not respond to request for repairs and show complete disregard to customers needs. My elderly relative has been left with no hot water since august and no heating since early September. Sean (seemingly the only member of staff) has advised that the repair will be done and given dates only for these to pass and no new dates given. There web site appears professional but the company is anything but. Do not use. Also the do not allow people to cancel their direct debit.

"Useless"
If I could give them zero stars I would. Appears they have 1 staff member running the entire business. The 1 guys seems to onboard new customers, arrange appointments, order parts, and supposed to make call backs etc for the whole of Scotland!! Needless to say, none of their promises were ever fulfilled an I am still sitting here with no hot water or heating two weeks later. Avoid these bunch of jokers.

"I was disappointed with the service I…"
I was disappointed with the service I received over the summer, I required help with my boiler and with many phone calls made by me and both engineer and office staff blaming one another it was eventually sorted at the end of July. You usually get a receipt of work done for my records but engineer had run out of paperwork which is not very professional but assured me it would be posted out the next week. Even with a phone call to the office I am still waiting. I asked how much notice they needed to cancel my direct debit but unfortunately I was told I can’t terminate till April!! Notice most of the reviews are positive but when you need help that seems to be where they fall down.

"Having dealt with FEP for nearly 40…"
Having dealt with FEP for nearly 40 years with excellent service the treatment we have received from.Scottish Boiler Care leaves a lot to be desired.Weasked to have a new radiator fitted in the bathroom as the present one had rusted. We were paying for the new one so were not asking for it with no charge
We were told repeatedly that someone would call us back which did not happen.Every time I called them the same person in the office blamed somebody else.He implied that the radiator had been ordered and the parts department would get back to me.Surprise Surprise nobody bothered to call. Finally after phoning continuously for more than three weeks I called and cancelled the order.I would not recommend this company to anyone and would give it 0 star rating if I could.
