"Delivery of bed and mattress"

I have had the pleasure of having bed delivered today by John and Damien. They were thoroughly professional and a credit to your company.
And your customer service has been impeccable, from getting someone out to review my bed even though it was past the 6 month period. Sending someone to assess it and providing me with a new bed and mattress, can't fault your company.

"5 month wait for a sofa, one poor excuse after another."

I ordered a chair and sofa at the beginning of Jan, the chair was in stock so only a couple of weeks wait for delivery. Unfortunately they lost it, they didn't tell me this, I had to chase them for 3 days to find out what had happened. So I had to book another day off work to get it delivered.
The sofa was ordered at the same time, and we have had the excuse of fabric manufacturers letting them down, over ordered, sofa not being delivered to the warehouse blah, blah, blah. Customer services ignored me until I offered to sit in the show room and let everyone browsing, know how shit Loaf really is. My sofa has now been delayed AGAIN until May. MAY! That's 5 months, at the most it should of been 6 weeks they said! Are loaf going under? Is that the real reason? Never again, and everyone we know, has said they wouldn't chance it. I'm going back to DUSK next time, cheap, good quality, customer service is excellent, brilliant updates and reliable. Shit show!

To update. Our delivery keeps moving out we are now "indicated" at 13 weeks when we were advised 7! Very disappointing

"Very disappointed customer "

I ordered and paid in full for two sofas out of the range that’s available and in stock only to be told after the transaction that only one would be available. I still have not been given a delivery date for the one that is supposedly available. The staff member who sold the sofas could not have been more helpful however the team in charge of after sales have not been impressive. I’m considering cancelling my £6,000 order as I have found the company to not be professional or impressive at all.

"Absolute joke - 6 month wait for delivery"

This company is an absolute joke, avoid at all costs.

Paid £8,000 for sofas in October last year and still haven’t received them 5 months later. They were supposed to be delivered early December but we got a call a couple of weeks before delivery was due to say there was an issue with fabric and they’d be delayed until January. The team at the time were helpful and offered a partial refund so we agreed. Then got a phone call to book delivery for December again from someone who said the sofa would now be ready for delivery before Christmas so we booked it in again. Only to then get an email a few days later to say it was an error and it would be January again.
Attempted to deliver sofas in January but the delivery driver told us when they arrived that the sofa was damaged and suggested we refuse delivery so we did. 3 days later no contact from Loaf so I had to contact them. They didn’t know anything about it. Said they could rearrange delivery and send a technician to our house to fix the damage but after a week we still didn’t have another delivery date so I called them again. The person I spoke to couldn’t help and said she didn’t know how long it would take to rearrange delivery. So we chose to give up waiting and reorder the sofa. The lead time was longer this time 7-9 weeks and there was a sale on so the sofa was a lot cheaper. They agreed to refund the difference so we were only paying the sale price.
Delivery of the sofa was booked in for tomorrow but we had a phone call a couple of days ago to say they were delayed by another 5 weeks and they are not willing to offer any compensation until we “reach the end of the journey” and then they’ll consider store credit or a possible partial refund. Absolute joke. The refunds we’ve had so far only bring the price down to the sale price the sofa was being sold for in January and god knows when the “end of the journey” will be, currently going to be 6 months from our original order date but don’t even have any faith in this company ever delivering. Have absolutely no desire to speak to anyone in customer service again as they genuinely couldn’t care less and don’t seem to have a clue what’s going on half the time.

"Damaged bed, slow, ineffective customer service"

We were sent a damaged bed and the delivery firm didn’t attach the headboard, despite us paying for it to be done. Customer service since has been pretty poor - lots of platitudes but they don’t reply in a timely way, and I’ve had to negotiate a vaguely fair refund amount. I truly believe we wouldn’t have got anything if I hadn’t badgered them with emails. Still waiting for the full refund to be paid and the bed was delivered on the 7th February 2025. Avoid!

*edit: as you can see, Loaf replied to this review asking me to respond to an information request they sent me to resolve the issue. I haven’t received any such information request. Don’t be fooled!

"Returned item still no refund after 3 weeks"

Really disappointed with the returns and refund process as it’s nearly over 3 weeks since I returned the bedspread and over 2 and half weeks since getting an email to say my refund would be processed and yet still no refund received. Based on other customers experience I’m not the only one who has had this problem. Not how I would have expected this business to operate so definitely won’t be buying from them again. If anyone can come back to me to get this sorted then please make contact.
EDIT : Refund finally received, just such a shame it took this negative review and possibly my subsequent frustrated email to them to get it sorted. Still won’t be buying from them again - you have been warned.

"Abysmal experience this time"

Shocking experience this time. Ordered a rug weeks ago. Despite 3 notifications it had been despatched it was never delivered. A promise to refund the delivery charge did not materialise until I chased. In the end I asked for a refund, and the agent I spoke to did not process this. I have chased again today. I have spent so long hanging on the phone and getting frustrated. Loaf has had almost £600 of my money for 6 weeks or so and I have had to chase them at every stage.
