Disappointing Experience with Loaf – Poor Service & Quality Issues

We ordered a sofa from Loaf at the beginning of October for £7,000, expecting delivery within 4–6 weeks as promised. However, there was a delay and we received an email advising us it would arrive late January
It finally arrived - only missing its legs!


What followed was a frustrating series of calls only to be told the legs would take another 3/4weeks to arrive. When they eventually did, they were second-hand, badly damaged, and completely unusable. After complaining again, we were assured a replacement set would be sent out to us as soon as possible However, the second set was also second-hand and in terrible condition. at which point we decided to get some made ourselves by a local company
Whilst moving the sofa my husband had unfortunately pierced a blood vessel on a staple that was sticking out and caused a vast amount of bleeding - fortunately I’m a nurse so was able to stop the blood and bandage him up - when I spoke to customer service I was advised that accept no liability for any injuries caused!!!
The aftercare service from Loaf was extremely disappointing.
Communication was poor, and getting any real help was an uphill battle.
The only saving grace was a staff member named Reece, who was incredibly helpful, always returning our calls and emails

For the price paid, we expected far better service and quality. Sadly, this experience has put us off purchasing from Loaf again, and I would caution others to think twice before ordering.

"Terrible experience after wrong item delivered"

Absolute joke of a company. Loaf delivered a sofa and a footstool but the footstool was the wrong size and wrong colour. Fast forward 6 weeks and 10 calls to customer service and I'm still being told 'Give me 24 hours and let me look into this and get back to you'. Not once has anyone ever come back with a follow up of what is going on. My footstool was almost delivered to another customer and at one point it sounded like they'd found my item but now I'm being told they need to speak to the warehouse to find it. Horrendously frustrating experience for such expensive furniture. SO894220
