"The team at Relay is great"

The team at Relay is great; they are responsive when you check in, and they answer the questions you ask. I've had several banks over the years — Relay far exceeds my experience with any other bank I've worked with. You can set up as many accounts as you want AND they do not require a minimum balance. They bring a whole new meaning to user friendly.

This time I worked with Sina in customer service and it was a great experience, but overall, everyone I talk with in customer service is super helpful, never act like your question is silly, and they are easy to hear - like they are just across town, not across an ocean! They also talk to you like a person, not like 2/3 of what they say is just reading a script.

"Extremely disappointed "

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience with Relay Bank has compelled me to share my frustration. I was expecting an international wire transfer that was sent successfully over a week ago, and I still have not received or been able to access these crucial funds.

As a small business owner, timely access to funds is essential for my operations, and this delay has put significant stress on my ability to manage expenses and pay my bills. I reached out to customer service multiple times, but the responses were vague and unhelpful, leaving me feeling more confused and anxious about the situation.

I chose Relay Bank for its promises of efficiency and reliability, but this experience has been anything but that. I feel let down during a critical time for my business, and I hope others consider this before relying on their international wire services. I really need this issue resolved quickly, but so far, it’s been nothing but disappointment.

"Horrible - We used the payment request feature"

We used the payment request feature, had a client pay $7,500, and haven't gotten our funds. At first we were lied to and told it took 1 business day—which changed to 2 the next day when it didn't show up. We were then lied to by support who told us the payment wasn't paid until the 25th and emailed me the receipt.. which clearly showed it was paid on the 24th. We are now at the end of business day number 3 and I was told EOD yesterday that Selena would be following up with us today. We've now emailed 3 times to her (8:30AM, 1:30PM, and 4:10PM) none of which have gotten a response. Relay has lost my $7,500 and literally can not tell me where it is or why they can't adhere to their own 2 business day MAX processing time. We are now getting grievances from our client for not having begun their work yet, and are unable to pay for our overhead. Every time I ask for this to be escalated and brought to a higher up, they say they will have someone call me and NO ONE CALLS. Stay FAR AWAY from Relay. Absolutely the worst business banking service I've ever used. PLEASE do not use this train wreck of a "bank". Which by the way, is not a bank. They are a third party to a partner bank—just a middle man. Go bank with a real bank that takes their job seriously and has the resources to actually do their jobs.

Relay is amazing! Simrah on the team gave an amazing walkthrough and helped me to really understand all the features in their tool belt. I recently joined for my real estate investment business. Before I did all the marketing and sales for a CPA firm and I know for a fact they they would want all business clients to use this!

"If you want the best"

I don't have good luck with cs support by email except when dealing with Relay! Their cs support is on the ball. They keep looking for answers until they find answers to my questions. Morgan and Jonel are two of the specialists I dealt with, and they did 6-star service for me and I will definitely use them again. Thanks Relay!

Extremely disappointed with Relay Financial's service and business practices. They abruptly closed my business account without proper notice, citing vague "sanction concerns" without providing any evidence. They have been holding $5,692.18 of my company's funds since February 10, 2025, refusing to process a wire transfer and failing to deliver promised checks. Their customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful, providing conflicting information and empty promises. As a business owner, I cannot recommend a financial institution that shows such disregard for their customers' funds and operations. Avoid at all costs if you value financial stability and transparency in your banking relationship.

Update 31/03/2025

Relay continues to withhold $5,692.18 of my business funds for 49 days with no valid justification. Despite regulatory complaints in the U.S. and Canada, they refuse to wire funds and blame their partner bank. Avoid this company unless you want your capital held hostage under false pretenses.
