"Not Impressed"

As a landlady I’m not impressed with Haart, I’m thoroughly disappointed. Despite our tenants paying on time, we are now owed two months rent. We have difficulty talking to staff, emails are often not answered. Impossible to talk to a person in accounts, I’ve never known a company where you are blocked from talking to accounts!! Haart give promises they don’t deliver. Frustrated and upset.

Just had a conversation with Evie who was so helpful and was great at relieving the stress that we are currently under by giving me all the information I asked for, and more, and then also offering to speak to the landlord on our behalf. Absolutely amazing.

"Supportive regular contact"

From my first contact with Heart Estate Agents I have found the team to be helpful and professional. Kateryna Chornenka has guided me throughout the process from the initial first viewing to the purchasing a house.
Kateryna has kept me up to date at each step, with regular phone calls and emails enabling me to ask any questions I might have had and supporting me through any concerns I had.

Haart is a great estate agent, always happy to help we have been dealing with Lilly-mai in Rayleigh. She is always on hand to help and returns calls when needed. Fingers crossed we can get our property over the line and it will all be down to her!

"Haart Unscrupulous & Untrustworthy "

Aggressive, intrusive, pushy cold calls from Haart again. Twice in the last few months my house has gone on the market with another estate agent. Haart then saw my property on Rightmove, worked out my address from Google maps and got my mobile number somehow. When I asked how they got my number they said they bought telephone data from a third party provider. The first time they called me (October 2024) I was on holiday. Their calls are pushy and intrusive, asking questions about how happy you are with your current estate agent / why are you selling your house and I wasted time trying to verify that they were genuinely Haart and not burglars targeting my home.
My house has gone back on the market (January 2025) and immediately I’m getting calls from Haart again. Two so far today. Each time I tell them to remove my data and I block their calls but they are persistent. Avoid them, they are unscrupulous and untrustworthy.

"All talk and no action "

The agent seemed great at first. Israr seemed was very efficient… well at least we though that was the case.
We agreed when making the offer the property would have a deep clean and some of the walls would be painted. Only to pick up the keys three weeks later to find neither had been done. After calling the office several times we found out that neither had been arranged despite the property being empty for three weeks! We finally found out that neither were put to the landlord even though we have it in writing that both were agreed.
We called and emailed only for the maintenance team to pass the blame onto someone else and stay they can’t help. Finally after 48 hours of chasing a cleaner was arranged… only to arrive and see the nothing had been touched. All the areas we said needed to be cleaned were exactly the same. We delayed our move in by two days despite the extra costs to us.
Two weeks later we are still chasing them to sort the decorating when they had ample time to do this prior to us moving in.
We’ve asking for a manger to contact us several times and this has been ignored. They even have the cheek to asks for a 5 star review

"Seriously awful"

Seriously awful!
Have never managed to speak with anyone on the phone despite calling tens of times.
Their emails are random, sporadic and usually contain incorrect information.
Not too sure how they're still in business.

"Highly unprofessional and insincere "

Haart Lettings (specifically the Croydon/Sutton branch) displays all the attributes of an unprofessional, and scam company.

They're so nice at first to you as a prospective tenant just to commit you to a contract and get your deposit.

The very moment you're committed, you're literally on your own. Whenever you need them for anything and call, it's either the person you're supposed to speak to is in a meeting, or just stepped out.. ..and they'll never call back. Specific mentions to Tiffany and Nahid, who suddenly became unreachable when I wanted my deposit back.

At the end of your tenancy, they'll deploy every trick in the world to get you to forfeit your hard earned deposit. Your only bet of recovering your deposit is via a protracted process with the Tenancy deposit scheme.

This is not just a personal experience. Read through all the reviews online and on Trustpilot. The 5stars are from new tenants who just moved in. The 1stars are from existing/former tenants whom they treat like trash when it's time for maintenance or to return the deposits. That tells you all you need to know.
