"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID"
If I could give this a zero rating I would. Haart were so unprofessional in their performance to sell our home, it has left a very, very bad taste in our mouths.
Given that the economic environment was already strained (due to Truss) Haart made the selling process excruciatingly and exponentially worse by their conduct>
We will be telling anyone that we know looking to sell their property to go nowhere near them

"Top service"
Fantastic service provided by the haart team at the Sutton branch in my search for somewhere to rent. Great communication and friendly service, Jermaine specifically went the extra mile.

"Happy with Haart"
Selling a property from a distance has its challenges, but Haart were as helpful as could be. All the team helped in different ways and they understood the extra effort needed. I really appreciate each person's input and definitely noticed the improvement with the new team in place. Things were kept moving, I was kept informed, and everyone was keen to help and were very polite to deal with.

"AVOID HAART - WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM"
THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND IT IS A BIG SCAM. I’ve lost so much money because of them.
If you’re a landlord, you will be lucky if you have a great tenant because 99% of the time, Haart picks the WORST TENANTS!
They provide one of the worst experiences ever and they do nothing at all.
Both TENANTS and LANDLORDS need to AVOID HAART. They do not deserve any good reviews.
YOU MUST LISTEN TO THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS AND IGNORE THE GOOD REVIEWS. More people need to leave bad reviews and talk about the horrible experiences they had.
You will regret picking Haart.

"AVOID HAARD AT ALL COSTS"
As a tenant I can say- avoid renting with haart newport. Their communication is to be desired, they do not help at all, been trying.to ring the maintenance team for over a week and they don't answer, they only care about money, they are quick enough to contact me if there's money owed but will drag their feet on getting repairs done and don't answer emails or calls..... I can't wait until I've moved out of the property and got away from haart. I've never been treat so badly by anyone. I prefer being homeless than being with them.

"If you're a Landlord - DO NOT USE HAART!"
Quite possibly the worst service you could receive from a letting agency. If there were an option for 0 stars, I'd be putting that.
I am not the type of person to complain but my experience with Haart has been nothing short of a joke.
1st issue:
Tenancy was due to come to an end. I spoke with Haart to find out if the tenants were renewing their tenancy or not. I was informed that they were renewing and would be staying in the property.
4 weeks later - Tenants handed their keys back in. They did not renew their tenancy. After asking Haart if the tenants ever signed a new agreement, I was told they didn't. It was not chased nor did anyone from Haart confirm with the tenants if they were staying or not, they just told me they did.
This meant that the property went back on the market late, resulting in it being vacant for 3 months. If the lettings team did their job, they would have known the previous tenants were leaving and it could have been back on the market and a new tenant in, with perhaps just a short window of it being unoccupied.
2nd Issue:
The previous tenants had taken furniture from the property that belonged to me; a dining table and bench.
I raised this with Haart and presumed I would get reimbursed from the deposit the tenants had paid.
We are now months down the line and I chase this regularly. Each time, emails are ignored and phone calls not returned. When I do eventually get hold of someone I'm told "we'll call you back within the hour"... Suprise surprise, no phone call back.
So months have passed, my furniture is gone, I have no reimbursement for it and nobody will give me an answer as to what is happening.
Issue 3:
I pay Haart for their Full Management package. As you can see, there has been little to no management here. I now have a new tenant in the property and it was agreed that the new Tenancy Set-up Fee would be revoked due to the poor service I have received.
However, when receiving my first month's rent from the new tenant... you guessed it; Haart still took the Tenancy Set-up Fee.
Issue 4:
Of course, I called Haart straight away to inform them that they have taken the Tenancy Set-up Fee, even after agreeing with me that the fee would be revoked. I was apologised to and informed that it would be refunded with the following month's rent. Slightly annoyed that I have to wait a further month for the refund, but hay ho, at least it's getting sorted.
The following month has now arrived and I have received the next rental. No points for guessing if I received the refund or not... A hard 'no' on that one. BUT not only did I not receive the refund; they actually took the Tenancy Set-up Fee AGAIN!
After multiple calls/emails, getting pushed from pillar to post, complaints getting brushed under the carpet, unreturned emails, and unanswered calls, I am now thousands out of pocket...
Vacant property for 3 months (£4,500 lost)
Stolen furniture (£2,750 lost)
Fees wrongfully being taken (£1,000 lost)
... £8,250 I have lost due to staff at Haart not doing their jobs correctly... £8,250!!!!
DO NOT USE HAART LETTINGS!
It may be great for tenants, but it is absolutely abysmal for landlords.
I wouldn't usually be the type to write a negative review, but I have given them the benefit of the doubt for months now. I have chased and chased and chased with no action being taken on their end. It's been a catalogue of disasters; save yourself the hassle and use a different agency.
