I rang to make a rent payment over the phone and was talking to Leanne she was advising me the systems were slow and to bear with her which I did! I made my payment and she was very friendly and professional and we had a friendly chat chat whilst waiting for the system to upload! Great service as usual

It wasn’t great it was fantastic service from Harmeet Kaur and Gurinder Sodhi she made the journey very smooth received the key and I was very pleased with the kindness approach. I would recommend to anyone seeking a place they will guide you in every way.

"Overall an efficient and professional…"

Overall an efficient and professional service, albeit rather expensive.
Special mention goes to Ken, Sarah and Rebecca at the Doncaster office, who supported me throughout, with good communication and a positive and helpful attitude.
Haart lose one star for the very slow issue of anything printed (which comes via central admin), for failing to notify me of a visit from the buyer's surveyor, and for their inability to arrange a critical visit from the buyer at short notice.
In summary, Haart are expensive but effective (mostly).

"Avoid"

I contacted Haart multiple times over the course of a week and was told someone would ring back. They never did. When I eventually got an appointment for a viewing they didn’t even bother to turn up! Non existent customer service.

"The red flag unprofessional behaviour "

The red flag, alarm bells should have been when Branch Manager of the Braintree Office asked for a google review of her performance, giving us the specific wording to use for the review “Could you ensure you include my full name and if possible 5 stars, don’t ask for much do I?”. No property had been viewed at this point.
My husband viewed the property and after some pressure we started the process of possibly renting this property. We paid a holding deposit and after reviewing the apparently drafted paperwork, we noticed that the contract was the previous/current tenant and notified her of this and she said she would change this but failed to do so and eventually failed to comply with their terms of contract. Nothing was completed, no contract was signed nor searches.
We requested our holding deposit back and this is when it all began to get worse than we ever imagined a professional organisation could behave.
They accused us of signing the contract, we didn’t. They then told us “ The amount held covers the employee costs to you for the work that was carried out in the initial conversation to the completion and taking of the holding deposit plus the marketing fees lost”. These fees are not chargeable.
We were not aware of this and was never told when we first made contact with Haart of these charges and we have never been charged by any other letting agent who charges to view, telephone calls and setting up a draft contract using the previous/current tenants details and contract??!!.
We have made numerous calls, emails for our deposit back which they are refusing to do so and now ignoring our emails. We now feel we have no alternative but to take legal action against Haart for the return of our deposit. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
