"Absolute thieves"
Absolute thieves, they called me to RENEW my policy then offered me a discount because I'd never made a claim on this washer that has been insured for years so I got an 3 extra items added to the cover. My washing machine broke during a house move shortly after, after renewing the policy (not a new policy, a renewed one) I was told the cooling off period was 2 weeks it had been over 4 weeks since the insurance was renewed and I called to make a claim for them to then change the cooling off period to 45 days... what a joke. Absolute scam of a company, Avoid at all costs. Customer service advisor Ross was very rude and put the phone down on me when I asked him to cancel the policy.

"It’s me again"
Well today is Friday 18th October, I had a call on Monday catching up to see how I was. I told them exactly how I was. Still not happy still waiting for the correct dishwasher. Scott replied oh I’m sorry for your experience I will get someone to call you straight back. Guess what!!!! I then said I you actually phoning me because you’ve read my reviews on trust pilot? He did answer but said if they were bad could I take them down.
I replied don’t be silly. Sort your mess out then I will consider changing my views.

I took cover out in August for several of my kitchen appliances. My washing machine broke 2 weeks ago and despite repeated calls and emails to Surecover, no one has been in contact to arrange repair/ replacement. Absolute joke !!

"Breach of contract"
Breach of contract. I have now been waiting 24 day since reporting my broken washing machine. 17 days since someone came out and said the motor had gone. 8 days since they took 75.00 for delivery and installation of washing machine that did not arrive and destruction of other one which is still here. It's now 4th October and the machine should have arrived 1st Oct. I've asked for my cash back that I payed for the policy as they are in breach of said document. I've had to inform my bank of the 75.00 I've payed and goods have not arrived and Ashleigh just saying she will contact Cindy to give me a call. Absolutely infuriating that people sit all day scamming people out of their honestly earned cash.
I just want to add that I have multiple appliances covered with this company as i believed they were a legitimate company. Shortly after paying for my cover. In full x 3 appliances. My bank card expired and multiple times people from sure cover called me asking for my new bank details to put on their system. I refused and told them they did not need them as my current policies do not run out until 2026. Someone then called me saying I hadn't paid the 240 for the cover for my freezer (fortunately I write everything down)
So I accessed the date I payed immediately and knew the date it went out of my bank. All of this made me suspicious and after reading the reviews of what they have done to others I was right to follow my instincts.
I informed my bank that I had payed them 75.00 for washing machine delivery .installation and disposal of broken machine and that the new machine did not arrive and they immediately gave me my 75.00 back and raised a dispute with sure cover. I also cancelled my bank card so they would not have my details. I then informed surecover that as they were in breach of contract I wanted the money back that I had payed for the policy to which they replied via email.we have no problem giving you the money back if you take down the dispute...to which I replied send me a cheque to cover the full amount and once that has cleared in my bank then I will take down the dispute. Haven't heard from them since but will be sending a letter of complaint to the company.
The machine was ordered and did not come on the delivery date and surecover staff offered no explanation just still fobbing me off with promises of calls that did not happen. There was 17 days from the machine being looked at and 8 days since I payed 75.00. The machine delivery date was 1st October and I cancelled payment on 4th October. No explanation no call back not acceptable and in breach of contract. And your still lying and trying to get more money I will never trust this company again .
I also sent emails and a voicemail and got no reply until my bank raised a dispute with them then they emailed back with the above .

Bit of annoying order was cancelled but new one was sent on email. Once picked it camr 2 days later. Better machine too Thanks Ross

"Worst company I’ve ever used"
Have contacted Surecover every day for over a week trying to get an engineer to repair my washing machine keep being told someone will phone me back but nothing. I purchased 3 year cover for washing machine but have had to go directly to Hotpoint to get engineer at further cost . People who are saying they are getting good service have been very lucky or have been put on here by surecover themselves. I have had nothing but trouble with this company save your money go direct to manufacturer for extended cover it works out cheaper than paying twice

Speedy response from surecover regarding my new machine. The replacement team contacted me and talked me through my options and what day was best to order. Arrived yesterday and is perfect! Thanks SCG
