We were told by the salesman that if the parts arrived on time, we would have a mid January install. Well, parts arrived but install is very end of Feb. Don’t need a fireplace much after that. They would not work with us to correct.
Then we were hit with a $399 fee to clean our clean chimney. We don’t use it much. But they believed it needed to be cleaned before install…. Without looking at it! If a chimney clean is recommended for each install, why not include the price in the install? And they never looked on my roof to verify the chimney is ok. Just kept adding $!
Not happy at all. I tried to cancel order. Said custom design so no cancel. So glad I received one small bottle of hot sauce on order… and it’s not that great. I would not

Added 2/10/25: To be fair, my installation was fit into the schedule. Now I have plenty of time to verify operation and warranty in 2025. The work was completed with great workmanship and good cleanup. Long day! Love the fireplace for past couple weeks!
I still think chimney cleaning at $299 should be built on to install cost. And I still believe there should have been better communication on install date at the point of sale. But it’s all good now. Appreciate the thorough follow up all the way from the top. Good business !

installers were efficient and neat but product was missing a heat shield which takes a long time to get and another couple week wait to get installed.

A replacement part is needed. The company checked warehouse and they no longer had the part. Instead of trying to find the piece elsewhere as a reputable company would, they told me to find it and they would only charge me approx $300 to install it.

"Chimney flu glued shut."

We purchased a chimney flu. The installation team glued it shut. This caused our home to fill with gas the next morning when we turned on the fireplace.
