"Very Happy with my 50 Oak Sleepers."
I've read some negative reviews for this company which is a shame, as I'm truly happy with the price, sales process and delivery. After spending many hours searching for 50 Oak sleeper and a good price I found Gardoo the best. It would of been twice the price if I bought from local merchant. The delivery price was good and to be expected for the volume and weight. I helped off load the sleepers, and inspected each one and found the quality very good. I'd use them again.

There delivery prices are an absolutely rip off!! Stay well away from them!! Go local merchants they will offer stuff at a slightly higher price and delivery is mostly free! And if there is a charge it’s £10-30 at most not £100 no saving money going online with these jokers!

"Excellent product and service"
As Richard Lines, ordered quantity of compost, for delivery. Unfortunately, didn't arrive on due date, due to current shortage of HGV drivers. Jack in Customer Services took charge of ensuring delivery took place the following day, 12 Nov 2021. Very helpful driver placed the pallent exactly where I needed it. Compost is of excellent quality, and as described when purchased. I am delighted with the product, and after sales customer service, and would definitely use them again. Looking at other reviews, many of them relate to the delivery rather than the product and potential customers should consider the current driver shortage when ordering.

Very pleased with the quality. I over ordered based on the fact that with a natural product you will often get some that don’t look quite right. I could have got away with not doing this. Delivery driver was very helpful

"Failed delivery charges rip off"
I bought 2 bulk bags of gravel, selected my delivery day (Wednesday) and took that day off to stay at home. On the Tuesday I received an email that my delivery is on its way and to be delivered on Thursday. I called Customer services who confirmed that the delivery will be on the Wednesday. It did not arrive. I called customer services again on Thursday who told me it that it will delivered on Thursday afternoon . This time my wife had to stay at home all afternoon. Again no delivery. On Friday morning I called customer service again who told me that delivery will now be the Friday afternoon. This time my wife had to postpone her work appointment to stay at home. At 16h30 pm I contact customer services again to ask where our delivery was. I was told that the haulier was unable to reach our property because of the way cars were parked in our street. In some parts of the street cars are parked on both sides, but there has always been room for delivery, rubbish trucks and moving trucks. Had I been home on Wednesday and there was a genuine issue I could have helped. I was told that because the hauliers were 2 days late, I will probably not be charged for delivery. On Monday I received an e-mail that the missed the delivery charges will be £170 (£85 missed delivery + £85 returning of goods by haulier) followed by another e-mail that the hauliers has waivered the return of goods fee and that charges will be 'only' £85. This can't be right. Not only is this a lot of amount of money for a delivery 35 miles away, the hauliers were also unable to provide any proof that they had no access.
I can't complain about customer services as I am sure they did their best but be careful when you order from this company because they could potentially charge you £170 for a failed delivery without providing any evidence.

"sleepers"
needed 20 sleepers and they arrived on a pallet on lorry with a tail lift on the right day at the right place. there was plenty of room for the lorry and he had my instructions from gardoo.
everything was delivered in order with a minimum of fuss- i did not expect the driver to lift/move/carry them to a complex place as this was my responsibility!

"Terrible delivery service"
Fair price on sleepers but the delivery of them was a joke.
A 10 hour time slot with no contact on ETA or tracking. My delivery didn't show and I wasn't told.
I had people waiting in for 10 hours to take the delivery because the courier didn't have the means to upload them.
The customer service from Gardoo was responsive but they only use email and have contact number. This is frustrating when you are sat waiting for replies.
My delivery showed up out of the blue on the second day and I had nobody to take the delivery. Luckily the driver did this alone or I would have had to pay for re-delivery.
All in all, just not good enough in this modern worl of everything being delivered, people expect much more!!
