"Sleepers on time and as expected"
Ordered 21 sleepers on Thurs 3rd June and they were delivered on Tuesday 8th as promised. Delivery driver was very helpful and offloaded the pallet onto my driveway. Quality of the sleepers was good - yes there are minor imperfections but I was not expecting perfect, planed softwood -they are railway sleepers. Would definitely use Gardoo again.

I initially ordered Hardwood Chips for my chicken run. The day after I had ordered and paid I received a phone call to say they were out of stock and I was given the option of a refund or wait for them to come back into stock. I chose a refund (which I have received). I wish the website had said it was out of stock and not given me the option to order, but that's only a minor issue and the company was very quick to contact me via phone and email.
I then ordered Woodland Mulch instead, and luckily this was in stock. It didn't arrive on the delivery date, but I emailed the company the next day and was told it was due to be delivered by 4pm that day. It arrived safe and sound just before 5pm (traffic was awful). Although it was a day late the company were very good at communicating when I emailed them, and there was a bank holiday just before the delivery date that probably interfered.
All in all I'm really happy with the product and the service I received, I just wish the website hadn't let me pay for a product that wasn't in stock.

Despite the over negative reviews I decided to take a chance and ordered 16 sleepers to build a raised flower bed. I had noted that a large proportion of the negative reviews were in relation to the delivery but as I’ve been working from home I didn’t really mind if they arrived late or not.
Anyway, they ended up arriving exactly on the day expected but of the 16 sleepers, 6 were in terrible condition and completely unacceptable. They were damaged, had chunks missing from them, were damp, and were generally very unhealthy and poorly looked after sleepers.
I called Gardoo with the delivery man present (who was embarrassed to be delivering them quite frankly). They told me to follow up with an email and pictures which I did.
I got a response a few hours later and was completely fobbed off. They told me that minor defects were to be expected and did not care what I had to say regarding the defects clearly not being minor.
I’m very disappointed and annoyed at myself for wasting so much money on a company that already came with bad reviews overall.
You should all do yourselves a favour and spend an extra £50-£100 by going to a retailer who has better reviews.
Seriously guys, avoid at all costs and let this company go bust so that more reputable companies can make better profits.
Update:
After initially being fobbed off, the details of my complaint were escalated and I have been told I will be refunded for the 6 faulty sleepers and be given an extra £25 for my time. I am satisfied with this outcome and will remove my review on receipt of the promised refund

Emailed Gardoo a couple of days ago to confirm still good for delivery date as had heard nothing since my order confirmation, and concerns over some previous bad feedback. Prompt email response, confirming order was still good for agreed delivery date, driver phoned 30min before arrival. Soft Wood Green sleepers all had at least one good face, there was a few with a part corner missing / bark remains but still happy with quality and especially the price, couldn’t find anywhere local to come close on price.

Ordered sleepers to arrive Friday. Called to check they were arriving that day due to reading poor reviews. They were very helpful. Arrived lunchtime. Driver helpful in carrying them. Good quality oak. Good experience all round.

My delivery arrived on Friday as specified in time for bank holiday weekend. The sleepers were good quality.
Driver did not call which was the only downside. my husband had to help the driver get them off the truck. i did have my son ready to help but lives 25mins away.
Overall very happy with the experience would use again.

I ordered a variety of products from Gardoo. Topsoil, mushroom compost & Pine nuggets. The delivery service was overall very good.
Topsoil was very good quality. The pine was very nice but I wouldn't describe it as a nugget.
No complaints on service & the delivery driver was very helpful.

"We were delivered the wrong sleepers a couple..."
We were delivered the wrong sleepers a couple of weeks ago, so ended sending them back, this was frustrating as we had to both take a day off work. I emailed Gardoo to organise another date for delivery and have to say was very impressed with their communication, they emailed me back instantly saying sorry etc and organised another date for delivery.
We have just had them delivered again and the quality seems good.
I do think communication between Gardoo and their delivery drivers needs to be better. The guy delivering complained saying he never delivers to 'normal households' like ours so he was surprised when he turned up at our house. I was expecting a call before they arrived, but didn't get one. (I do understand that T&C's say we might not get a call, so not all the blame on Gardoo there) Had I got a call I would have arranged for someone to come down to help me with lifting.
The lorry driver did say I wasn't technically allowed on the lorry to unload, and the sleepers were too heavy for the lift, which left me confused about how they usually do it tbh. So more communication between Gardoo and the delivery drivers would probably be more helpful.
He ended up helping me take them off the lorry which was very helpful.

Rubbish company don’t use.
Paid for 15m2 grasscrete on 19th April, got a confirmation email confirming the order.
No delivery on the date I was given, multiple emails later and 5 weeks! I finally get an email saying they are out of stock of what I ordered and they are not being made any more!
I asked if I could swop the size and was then told I would have to pay to return the size I had and would be charged the difference!
Shocking customer service and no help at all.

"Ordered 18 sleepers on 10/05 for…"
Ordered 18 sleepers on 10/05 for delivery on the 18/05. Date arrived and no delivery of sleepers or any contact. Took the day off work so rather annoying. Could not find a telephone number so emailed them and they came back to me saying sorry and the sleepers will be with you the next day. Next day no sleepers, emailed them again and this time no reply. Been emailing them since and no reply at all. Have now asked for a refund and again no reply. No not use these as I’m getting the impression they are a con and now concerned about getting my £400 plus money back. Would love to hear from you Gardoo and explain why I haven’t heard from you and my sleepers have not arrived some 5 days later.
