My call with the agent Faith went very smoothly. She understood my request and resolved it within 20 minutes after the call, called me back to tell me the outcome and even sent me an email as peoof. It was an incredible efficiency and customer service.

Faith was patient and professional and guided me through all the step and kept me informed along the way. There were some stipulations to validate the insurance policy but I was given sufficient amount of time to provide the supporting documents and sent reminders.

I was initially quoted a reasonable price through a comparison site and asked to call Quote Detective to proceed. Once on the phone, the price was hiked significantly—but I reluctantly went ahead.

Seven months later, due to serious health issues (including a organ transplant that forced me out of work), I had to cancel my policy. Despite being over £300 in credit, they claimed I still owed money. I explained my financial situation and the reason for cancellation, but instead of showing any understanding, they relentlessly hounded me for payment and threatened debt collection.

I told them I was willing to go through debt collectors so I could set up a manageable payment plan. They completely ignored this and took money from my account without consent, despite the direct debit having been cancelled long before.

Their lack of compassion and shady business practices are disgraceful. I strongly advise against using Quote Detective.
