"Delivery issues but excellent customer care"
Initial issues experienced with the order as delivery arrived at the wrong address and late. The customer service to rectify this was excellent and I am glad to recommend Skandium for the level of customer care.

"Lead time delays (again)"
I ordered a Kilt cabinet which has a lead time of 10-13 weeks. This has been delayed and there is a risk that it will not arrive at 15 weeks - which is an issue because we are going away for 5 months. Luke and Abbey have been amazing at chasing the suppliers and providing solutions if we need to store the cabinet. Without them the star rating would have been lower. They are both very responsive to e-mails (though the phone service is poor - and there is no online chat facility despite what the recorded message says).
This is not the first time we have been let down by Skandium's suppliers failing to deliver to their advertised lead times. I hope they have penalty clauses in their contracts because it tarnishes the name of a good company and is beyond their control.

First of all, great choice of contemporary furniture/accessories and excellent discounts from time to time. For items that are in stock, the delivery is very quick. For made-to-order items, one has to obviously wait (I am still waiting for a sofa and armchairs I ordered back in July), but that's a given since they are, as the name suggests, custom made. Customer service staff are very responsive - shout out to Luke who has always promptly replied to my emails with updates about my orders! Overall, pretty happy with the service!

Waited since July for my delivery to arrive as they wanted to wait for all items to be in stock before it was despatched. When the delivery arrived, an item was missing as it had gone out of stock whilst waiting for other items. Won't be ordering from here again in a hurry

I purchased an Arctander chair from Scandium which had faulty buttoning. Paustian the supplier were contacted for a replacement or refund. They appallingly were not forthcoming. Scandium organised a collection and refund themselves which I appreciate. I am very disappointed that the chair was not replaced by Paustian who are obviously living on a reputation of service and quality that is no longer deserved. Thank you Scandium for your courteous and helpful handling of this situation.

We order some lamps for our outside table and now they are here we are very happy with them. It was a bit of a task actually getting the order fulfilled and reading other reviews I dont think this is unusual. Skandium this needs to improve please! Abbey Mundy from customer services absolutely saved the day and kept me from cancelling my order. Thanks Abbey.
