Customer Service Representative Abby is on top of her game! Abby provided quick response and resolution with my order. I was glad to have found Skandium for the item I wanted to purchase but was then dismayed with all of the complications. Abby changed all that and provided the service and professionalism that is surely behind the Skandium name.

"UPDATED // unreliable website information and customer service"
I've been trying to find out about a custom order for about three weeks. There has been no update since placing the order 3 months ago. After emailing several times and attempting to cancel the order due to personal circumstances and lack of updates I was told this was impossible. I then requested an update so I could make arrangements as it is hitting the displayed delivery on the website - I was informed the product was not going to be available for another 2 months. I am now stuck with a hefty bill for an invisible product that I no longer can accommodate. Customer service has been below poor and this team are not very clear with no information on product update, or delays after payment made. Pretty awful policy for consumers and extremely awful internal communications. I'd not advise using this brand for anything that requires a modicum of reliability.
UPDATE: I received a phone call regarding the order and explained my position as notes had not been handed over and dates did not line up to prev info given. I was told the item could not be resold as it was not a common colour for a sofa (grey) and the company had to look out for its own interests. Still waiting on a resolution but I appreciated the honesty :)

The delivery people were first class: on time, polite and very helpful. The process itself though is in need of attention: I found the information sent to me confusing and not entirely clear with much room for improvement. Unfortunately, the delivery team were let down by Skandium because part of the order was missing. So it now depends on how well Skandium addresses this issue and accepts responsibility. I would not normally accept a service that is not complete or where I believe I have been misled. But I decided to accept the part delivery so I have accepted there is risk in this and I may be let down and this develops into something unpleasant - a case of wait and see.

Skandium appears to have some pretty serious issues with its website to warehouse communications. Not to mention sending out wrong items, then selling the item I actually bought to someone else. That was my last two orders. Then this order, I'm just looking at it saying 'unfulfilled'. Given my last few experiences with Skandium, it wouldn't surprise me if its actually not instock, even though it says one is left. It should have been despatched by now, but it's 'unfulfilled'. I placed an order with a different company but in Ireland, on the same day as my Skandium order, and the one from Ireland has already arrived. Given Skandium is london based, really surprised at how many issues they are having. They may have changed their model from physical to online, but they haven't done it well enough. I used to ask family for Christmas Gift vouchers from Skandium, but this year I won’t, just can't risk it. Sorry guys, you really need to get in the warehouse to find out what's going wrong. Fix that and you’ll have happy customers again.

I had an issue with a product purchased and Skandium was incredibly helpful to resolve the issue with the supplier. Emails were answered the same day and updates were provided to me promptly, the problem solved professionally. The customer service was excellent and I endevour to support Skandium. Thank you Luke!

"Paid 11 weeks ago and nothing has arrived"
Paid on 5 July for an Anglepoise Lamp. Wait time was given as 6 weeks. Still haven't received the lamp to cancelled the order and asked for a refund today (20 Sep). Have just ordered the same lamp from another company and it has been dispatched within 2 days.
The Skandium customer service staff are efficient, quick and polite (hence 2 stars) but they are in a very awkward position as there is something dreadfully wrong with the company's stock / import systems. Not what I expected of Skandium at all.

Ordered and paid for two mugs on 06-08-22 and still not arrived by 15-09-22

"Incompetent"
I have ordered two Muuto baskets: black and navy which they promise to dispatch in 1-2 days. After a week with no delivery details I contacted the company. Couple days later I got the reply: they have problem with their website and there was no navy when I placed the order ( didn't bother themselves to inform me about it during whole week). Sounded like they have it now but not going to offer to me. Anyway I have asked for two black instead. Abby responded: she is going to post it immediately. Couple days later I got ONE. Contacted them again asking for the second one. Finally ( after over two weeks) got it too but dirty from the bottom, full of hair inside. Really disgusting.
One more thing: when you place an order you read about challenging (pandemic) times - delivery info.
When you contact them - about migrating system which cause delays, in respond - about website problems. Sounds like it's a company with many problems.
