Update: I was able to connect w a live person this morning. He indicated that my item is on backorder, but they have an estimated ship date of around 2/20. Some shortages are causing backups, which increases the calls to their customer service folks, and they are maxed out on how many calls they can field. He was very open and honest about the delay, and apologetic. I'll have to chill out for a couple weeks, and hopefully I'll have my unit. FYI - their home RO system is better than anything else I have found... I have close to 0 solids in the water when I test it, so it's worth waiting for.

Original Review: I placed an order last week that should have shipped same day. It has not shipped several days later, and the company is neither answering the phone nor responding to inquiry on their site or by email. I had been a residential customer for several years and thought I had a reliable resource for my home RO system.

I didn’t receive all the items ordered and when tried to call the customer care, they never answer or return the call. I had to purchase more in order to avoid the shipping fee and very likely APEC will end up paying twice for the same shipment now.

It has been over 2 weeks since I ordered the filter cartridges and I still have not received them. I'm not quite sure what the status is on DHL shipment. They say to contact merchant (i.e., APEC) for questions. I appreciate any help, thanks.
