"Simply Awful"

Simply Awful. Do not answer the phones, they just cut you off after a couple of rings or if you are lucky a couple of minutes. If the online chat is a real person then they are the worst customer service person ever as they don't help at all and just copy paste responses. The tracking number provided by the US embassy does not work on the website. No contact or useful response whatsoever.

I cannot think of a way they could make the customer experience worse.

They obviously cannot cope with the US visa contract and should never have been given it. It's chaos.

EDIT: One of the reasons i was trying to get in contact was to find out if I could collect my passport on a Saturday. I have now found out that you CANNOT do this. Luckily I decided not to risk it and go in the week so didn't waste 6 hours and £100 on travel costs, but I easily could have done. Mailboxes inc: This is why you need to answer enquires instead of ignoring them! This doesn't need an "investigation" it just requires you to do your fricking job!

"Lost passport"

My passport was to be returned from the US Embassy via this company. I received a tracking link for Royal Mail saying sent from MBE Holborn on the Monday and that it was due for delivery on Tuesday. However, on Tuesday it was delivered and signed for hundreds of miles away from where I stay. I have emailed MBE Holborn twice and tried phoning them dozens of times in the last 48 hours to try to resolve this but can't get any answer from them. I have used the MBE webchat a number of times and asked for contact information to speak to a manager or submit a complaint but am told that they "have limited information on this". The company is completely opaque and impossible to get any information from or speak to someone from.

I’ve used Mailboxes etc. twice now to pick up from auction houses, pack and ship to me. Once was Dundee and once was Nottingham. On both occasions the items were packed very securely and safely. They’re not cheap but far easier than travelling to pick up items myself. I highly recommend.

Great service from Judy and Abi at MBE Chichester! I buy a lot from auctions and have asked MBE in other areas for quote but they haven't been as responsive and interested as the Chichester branch, it is really great to see. If you want something packaged and dispatched in a timely manner, for a decent cost as well as really good communication then these are for you. Do not hesitate!

"Absolute disgrace"

Absolute disgrace - I have an email dated 23rd of March 2025 from the US visa services to say that my documents had been given to Mail Boxes and a tracking number was provided. The tracking number is not recognised by Mail Boxes and the chat service is useless - the same woman seems to work all day every day and is apparently the sole person working and my questions are never answered in full, you are referred back to the visa issuer who have already stated they have given Mail Boxes the documents or to an on line site which still does not tell me where my documents are! I have tried numerous times to call - the calls just drop out with no queueing system or call back, via email, you receive a generic reply stating they are very busy and to be patient. I do not know where my documents including my passport are or when they will be delivered - one email implied that I was meant to pick them up from Holborn in London when I had paid £21 to have them delivered to my house. I am beyond frustrated and am now going to lodge a formal complaint with them and with the Embassy
