"Damaged and late "

Very disappointed. I ordered last week for delivery on Friday 5th April. Paid the charge for this delivery service. Nothing arrived. Called the delivery company and they told me the driver had called in sick. It would be out on Saturday. I called Saturday to then be told it was at the hub and would not be out that day. Emailed treetomydoor who responded saying it would be out Monday. Refunded me £3 on delivery. No delivery yesterday. Finally arrived today. The box was held together with one bit of parcel tape. The tree has been damaged and don’t think it is salvageable. I have emailed asking for a refund so we shall see!! This was a gift for my mom on her birthday. This situation has made me look bad when it was the companies fault. Will never, ever order from here again!

Had a reply asking for proof of damage to tree. It was a gift and delivered to my parents 3hrs away from me so will not be able to get a picture. Clearly the delivery photo showing the state of the item was not enough. Shocking service

"Excellent service and comprehensive care instructions"

I can only comment on ordering and delivery service as this was a gift to a friend, although have received a wonderful thank you note for the 'Friendship Rose' they've received and they are delighted.

"Whole process - excellent!"

From ordering, confirmation, delivery & right through to the actual receipt by my relative, I was kept well informed. The tree is in excellent condition, it was well packaged & delivered with care. Above all, the gift was well received. Little touches such as the personal note from the founder of the Company added to the overall positive online shopping experience. I would definitely recommend this Company to anyone looking for a meaningful gift.

My friends were so pleased with the 60th Anniversary Rose today. Their response was exactly what I had hoped for. This delivery was time-critical and was delivered exactly at the right time - Thank you!

"Multiple Issues - very disappointed and will not use again"

Ordered a bereavement gift for a colleague. Paid for express delivery which is next day if ordered before 11am. Whilst I ordered after 11am on a Thursday, my thought process would be that the item would ship the following day, for possible Saturday delivery, but if not Saturday then Monday. This is not the case. The item didn't arrive until Tuesday and there if no information on the website regarding this.

When the item arrived, the packaging was severely damaged, which isn't exactly ideal when it is representing the loss of a loved one! The company refunded the cost of delivery.

However, there was a further issue. The card which I purchased had an error. They had missed the last line of the text on my order, this included who the item was from. For this reason the recipient did not know who had sent the item. It turns out the company are aware of the 'IT error' from over the last few days and they have offered to send a new card or refund the £2.50 paid.

An overall refund of £10.50 isn't worth the issues, particularly when sending something of a sensitive nature.

Overall I have found the service to be sloppy and insensitive and is not a company I will use again for the above reasons.

Value for money, easy to order, delivered safely and on time. The tree was in excellent condition (and still is), was accompanied with comprehensive care instructions and a personal thank you.

"Buy from your local garden centre instead"

My orange tree arrived with no oranges on it – just one rattling around at the bottom of the box!
The plant itself was very tired with the leaves beginning to curl and going brown. Over the next two weeks basically all the leaves fell off (apart from some new shoots at the very top of the tree).
Despite their “three month guarantee”, the customer service person made a number of excuses and basically implied that I should keep the plant and that it would recover. Short of a miracle there is no way this stick with a few leaves at the top will look like an orange tree in the next 12 months.
It’s very disappointing – especially given that the plant, with delivery, cost £60!
