I am really enjoying this app. I like having an actual instructor along with the music on the side to follow. I like the short lessons where you can learn as fast or as slow as you like. When I had a password issue, your response time was quick. I also enjoy the option of speeding up the videos or slowing them down.

I have tried other online guitar tuition platforms that have real people doing the lessons but GuitarTricks is the best so far. I'm an advanced beginner but I want to focus on rock electric guitar and I can do that with the guitar tricks modules for Rock. Most other platforms offer general lessons that cover most styles, which is fine, but I want to focus on Rock guitar and then maybe pick up other styles later. Good quality lessons and I particularly like learning from Anders Mouridsen

"This is the structure I needed rather than bouncing around YouTube"

I've been using the program for about a week now, so I only gave it 4 stars because it is so new to me and I am pretty particular about giving something 5 stars because there is always room for improvement.

With that said, I am very impressed with the program. I have been "playing" guitar for about the past six months, mainly by watching YouTube videos. I found those videos to be helpful, but they are, of course, not a structured learning program and I found myself bouncing all over the place.

When I started GuitarTricks, I found the structure that I needed. Admittedly, for the first 6-8 videos, I already knew the stuff (basic chords), but I watched them anyway and got a lot of good tricks on how to change chords fairly quickly. So was happy that I watched from the beginner videos.

There are a ton of lessons, and the video instructions are short, which is good (like 2-4 minutes). I watch one or two (or maybe three) lessons on my phone at work during lunch, and the later that evening do the exercises, or re-watch the videos quickly and then do the exercises. This seems to work well for me.

I also have the phone app, along with the website. The phone and website do a good job syncing with each other so you know where you left off, no matter which device you use (or a combo of both).

Overall, I really like the program. I am looking forward to getting to the harder lessons, which have already begun. For example, I am doing the strumming lessons now and I think I've already improved, mainly because I got some good tips on how to hold the pick and also get my timing and rhythm down.

I will try to update this review in a few months, but right now, for the price, this is an excellent program.

As an “old” new beginner I really like the pace of the lessons. Even with my busy daily activities I find taking time at the end of the day for a lesson relaxing.

As a student the classes are broken down into small mini segments whitch tells me that you have an understanding of how peopie learn. your lessons are consise and you give the student to review the lesson and make sure that they understand what was taught. I have been playing for over 50 years now and you are able to help me sharpen my skills.

it's been 7 months since I started playing as a 40 year old senior learner! first I tried Justin Guitar, switched to Pickup music then to GuitarZeroToHero and then other, and then got an in person instructor. None of them resonated with me. I was hasseling around in youtube and courses, none of them worked for me, I had problem with structure and roadmap of them.

But about two weeks ago chatgpt suggested me that I should give a try to guitar tricks and in the past two weeks I was amazed by how well structured Guitar tricks is. I don't think anybody can be not satisfied with Guitartricks, small and consistent and easy to follow lessons that keeps pushing you forward.

The thing I love most about it is that they teach you a new thing and then they combine it with past lessons and while you're having the excitement of learning the new lesson, you also practice what you have already learnt, until it's get printed on your mind and skillset.

I really wanna thank the owners and instructors.

"Communication is fast and excellent"

Communication is fast and excellent. I love the site and use it everyday to learn at a pace I can keep up with and at a price I can afford. Its been about 5 months since I joined at the introductory rate but plan to keep the plan when its time to renew as I'm finding bits and pieces of gaps in my learning even though I consider myself an advanced beginner. I love the way the lessons build on each other. Almost all the lessons I've utilized so far have been from Andres. But after that I will probably branch out and try out the other instructors.
