I use Beryl in Norwich, I am a heavy user and racked up 1253 minutes last year.
The customer service via the chat option is fantastic and fast. The bikes and scooters are mostly good condition, although I have had a few issues. Login, setup and usage very easy via app. The convenience is fantastic. The new scooters are very good.
I docked a star for 3 reasons:
1. The price hike makes using Beryl very expensive.
2. Some scooters and bikes have remained on their system despite not working and multiple failed unlock attempts. I've walked out to get a scooter to find it doesn't work and missed a train as a result. Despite my complaint it remained on the system for others to fall for it.
3. Availability of bikes can be very poor near where I live despite clear demand for it. I flagged this to Beryl and nothing changed.

I went to the chemist to get my medicine but there is either no signal or very bad in there so the text reminder of my time running out on a paused scooter ended up charging me £5.
I need to re-hire it to get home but thought £6.50 was unjustified. I therefore text the help line and got a speedy response from jacques who also helped me on Sunday when the scooter lost all power but I still needed another to get to my home, again jacques was very helpful and responded to my questions and queries very quickly.
As the price of running a car has inflated so much iv decided that using a BERYL scooter or bicycle is easier and cheaper. I do and will continue to recommend this alternative travel especially more so now as the help team (jacques) on last 2 occasions have been very helpful. Thanks to everyone on the BERYL team for making my new found travel alternative less complicated. I have been using you for couple of years now and must congratulate on the improvements iv noticed.. thank you from RUSS a very happy customer
