"Cheeky scammers!"
I used Lime scooters in the past and loved it. These scooters instead have been the worst experience ever! The app is awfully designed and they charged us £11 without warning for parking outside a Bay Area (from the app it looked like we were inside). You should give costumers a warning that we can’t park in a spot before charging us without warning! Scam! Also, when we signed up to the app it first took the payment and only afterwards told us we needed a driving license. This company is not transparent and borderline scamming people! AVOID!!!

"Scam"
Scam. You don’t get told when you go “out of a zone” yet they fine you £10 if you do. Hired a bike for 20 mins and followed bike path around a small park and when I ended my ride is said in RED I was fined for going outside of a zone. AVOID

"AVOID. First time experience was terrible"
First experience was power for the first two mins then I had to scoot it manually. On top of that charged £5 for parking out of a bay. Poor execution of a service and rip of pricing avoid l!!!

"Avoid those pieces of crap"
Overpriced, cheap bikes and scooters, horrible service and probably found just to gain banks details and charge whatever they want until you request your refund. Paid 200 minutes to try the scooters, charged 3 times for non working scooters.

"Avoid at all costs"
App is terrible and cost varies between riders on the same ride. Quick to charge not quick to refund, they wouldn’t be happy if I paid in 2-5 days after using them. Reporting a problem on app doesn’t allow to attach pictures, then response is by email then you reply by email no response. 1st and last time I will be using these would not recommend anyone.

"Terible bikes"
Terible bikes , app doesnt work and it crashes , after that they charge you beacause even if you lock the bike it wont lock i lost over 100 pounds like that, bikes are super unsafe, you try to change the gear, and it changes 20 seconds later, when you expect the less, i almost fell like 5 times beacause of that! You should be banned from suplying our towns , id love to have a proper company, if i want a scooter i have to walk 20 minutes only to discover that theres no batery

"Phenomenal"
Phenomenal, great service and the best customer support iv seen in a long while.
Being borderline agrophobic before the lockdown has meant iv barely left the house the past year.
Well I thought a good easy way to launch an expedition to the outside would be thru the Beryl electric scooters.
It certainly was. Very easy to use, setup my account in minutes.
Had an issue with the scooter stopping working on the journey but Rima from the customer support team responded almost immediately. She guided me through what to do and made me feel instantly calm.
Bit of advice tho, if your using the scooters for the first time take your drivers license. I wasn't aware of this so had to turn a 20 minute walk to the scooter into an hour of going back and fourth. However as this was a goal of getting me outside I took this as a sign I need to walk more too.
About 11-12mph average speed, means getting to shops, going to a friend's or just for a ride is fun and feels safe. To my surprise even going up hills kept me larger at 7mph (tho did have to give it a few push to keep the momentum.
In conclusion I had a few teething problems being my first time using but even then it went reasonably smoothly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

"Very good only one wrinkle."
I've been using Beryl scooters for a couple of weeks now. I find them a useful mode of transport. I was pleasantly surprise to discover that they can manage to get up some very steep hills (up to 20% so far) although they do slow down. The one wrinkle I've experienced is the Stop Ride function on the App doesn't always work. I've had to contact Beryl via the app. When I did they sorted it out and gave me a refund.

"Terribly dangerous scooters"
Terribly dangerous. I was nearly hit in my car by a young man driving the wrong way down a one way street with a child on the back. My sister-in-law while walking on a pavement was also nearly hit. These scooters are dangerous and there is no control over who can ride them. You can hire them without the required driving licence, no helmet and no insurance. They should be banned before there is a serious accident. I’m appalled they were ever allowed.
