"Disgusting company"
I would leave 0 stars if I could.
Took a Beryl E-Scooter to get home, 15 minutes into my 30 minute journey and the scooter broke down, would not move. Contacted support through the app and they agreed to refund me, but only partly! As I’d taken a 15 minute journey they were still going to charge me for the 15 minutes of my journey! The way I see it, if you took a taxi or a bus, and it broke down mid-journey, you wouldn’t expect to be charged for a portion of the journey that you did get taken. Customer service agent refused to refund the whole amount, advised to contact support via email to make a complaint, was advised a 24 hour response ETA, never received a reply. Tells you all you need to know about a company.
Do not recommend, and have deleted my account. All that over £2.10, worth it right guys? Disgusting.

"Customer service is without a doubt the…"
Customer service is without a doubt the rudest and most unhelpful I have ever experienced..they don't care about the business and its obviously an issue that comes from management down. With such an overpriced service as it is, you'd expect customer service to be on point. I'll never use this again, and next time I see a beryl bike thrown into a Bush I definitely won't be taking it back to the docking..

"Don't use this bikes"
I've bought a 2 day pass which includes 100min for 12£. After a 99min ride I've been charged 24£ as in the T&C it says (in a corner, and very small to make sure you don't see it) after a 30min ride you will be charged per minute. So basically you buy 100min but you can only use 30. And don't ask for a refund, the post service is very sarcastic and rude to complete this amazing experience. Never seen something similar.

"Terrible service"
Terrible service, used bike for 16 min ride, bike would not lock online chat was closed, 1 hour later get charged £10 for not locking bike, next morning was only offered a partial refund of the £10. Getting ripped off for an issue that was not my fault, terrible customer service and poorly maintained bikes. Stay well away from Bournemouth beryl. The reply below from beryl is not true, account still frozen until they expect me to pay £10, and they still owe me minutes had 49 before the 16 min ride, they can see the time when I tried to report the problem in the chat so not difficult to work out. Yet again another hopeless reply from beryl, you owe me minutes and a full £10 refund.

"Just a rip off"
Just a rip off, they’ve changed the tenta bike company to this on around Brighton and the area. They are so expensive compared to last bikes and you can only pause the ride for 15 minutes and they charge you each minute. Some helpful customer service when things went wrong but too expensive

"RIP OFF"
RIP OFF - trying to get people to be greener yet get this. It took us 30 mins to unlock the bikes as the locks kept jamming (both bikes) about an hour seemed to cost is £12. We stopped our bikes and just locked the wheel whilst we smoked a cigarette and got charged a £10 fee for locking the bike outside of a bay haha. Never ever again. Shame tho because really fun to ride around.

"Rented the bike and took it out of the…"
Rented the bike and took it out of the zone, expecting a £10 charge which is listed on the app and website.
Got charged £25, so I messaged support.
The guy I got through to told me that the price was different now, even though the app didn't say it
I had to screenshot the app and tell him that you can't charge me different to what it says on the site.
He seemed to argue the point before refunding me, but they are literally charging £15 extra without telling anyone.
Then when I went to take it back, I had to unlock the bike 3x on the app because it wouldn't unlock, charging me £1 per time. Luckily this got refunded.
Also, on the app, you try to zoom out to see the nearest point, and then app locks the map every time you pinch to zoom to tell you to take it back.
So every time you move the map you have to click off the notification, almost like it's trying to stop you find the return point.
Bike went about 1 mile an hour because it was so stiff and badly made so you can't ride it back fast and will get charged extra, basket has holes on the side so you can't put anything in it, just a total disaster tbh.
Wouldn't use it again, would rather walk

"Excess charges"
Went for a bike ride that lasted less than 30 mins and then proceeded to lock and pause my bike ride. The next day I clicked on the app and I saw that my bike ride did not in fact end and so as a result they overcharged me on something that wasn’t my fault. Honestly you’re better off just using public transport such as a bus or train.
I messaged customer service on the app and was talking to Aidan. He said that he would pass it onto the billings team and that he is now speaking to the billings team. I then asked when I would hear back from them as they have taken a large amount of money and I never heard anything back. I’m extremely annoyed because it’s a simple issue that requires nothing but refunding me my money back so I don’t understand why it’s taking so long.

"Bikes don't unlock"
Bikes don't unlock, however, the app shows that your are "running" and that the bike is locked, when in reality it is not.
Customer support is garbage.

"Way too expensive in Birmingham"
Way too expensive in Birmingham. Cost me £3 today for 10 minutes, you can hardly go anywhere on them without it costing you a fortune! Disgusting that the Mayor of Birmingham chose these, Voi was so much better, and their scooters were better too.
