Great customer service, food tastes fresh and homemade and you can freeze the meals if required!

"Tasty, convenient but difficult"

The meals are tasty and convenient. Saves me a lot of time and effort in the evenings.

A few negatives however, the packaging is awful; awkward shape and size to fit into fridge / freezer and they are also a nightmare to open. Always need a knife to open even though there is a ‘pull to open’ tab. The Prep Kitchen website is not intuitive. It’s very hard to navigate to the page where I can see how much I’m being charged for any given week. Also very hard to view what meals are in my box because on the menu page it says “added” on every single meal

"Terrible packaging "

Really tasty meals, however, they are very expensive compared to other companies, and the packaging is absolutely horrendous it’s impossible to get into them, if they sorted out the packaging i’d use them more often, its absolutely the worst packaging i’ve delt with.

I feel like alot of the 5 star reviews are fake because I cannot see how anyone could be happy with these meals...
Ordered 10 meals and was shocked to see how cheap and nasty the packaging was and how tiny they were.
You cannot peel off the lid you have to cut it off and the label is unreadable ( other people have made the same comments )
The meals are so unbelievably salty I had 2 bites of the first one and couldn't finish it, so tried another the next day and was exactly the same, massive amounts of table salt so completely inedible.
These meals are not healthy!!
Really disappointed but at least customer services got bk to me and after a few days I recieved a refund. They did comment that " we have had no other complaints about the food being over salty " which I can see by the comments this is not true. They shouldn't make you feel rubbish for being honest.

"Best meal prep company around"

After trying a number of different meal prep companies, prep kitchen is hands down my favorite one. Despite being a picky person, I’ve loved every meal and genuinely look forward to my meal prep. As a bonus the macros are great and each meal has at least 2 of your five a day. The only downside is the packaging, the plastic film is attached so tightly the only way to open it is by using a knife. Other than that, 10/10!

"The customer service is a nightmare"

The customer service is a nightmare. Nobody answers your emails or the telephone. Live chat isn’t even working. I was due to get a delivery last Sunday. It never arrived due to the weather. I have tried to contacted them but no joy. It is very hard to cancel your subscription. Easy to put on hold but not easy to cancel. The meals are very convenient and taste good.

"Tried this for a week"

Tried this for a week - 10 meals, mainly chicken, veg, low carb c.500 cals a meal. Tried cooking them in microwave and in cooker (they do not come in oven ready containers so you have to transfer the food) Frankly they are terrible. Stringy chicken, very few veg and small portions; everything was also over salted and the nutrition and cooking instructions are on the bottom and very difficult to read (poor printing)! I got 40% with a deal but still feel ripped off. Would do better buying M&S ready meals; they taste better/are better quality and are cheaper!
Don't waste your money.

"I've tried other brand like kitchen…"

I've tried other brand like kitchen chef and other low cal and carb ready meals in supermarkets but prep kitchen I really like and prefer over all of them. I particularly like the amount of chicken you get and how they use black bean noodles, red lentil rice and edamame spaghetti. I've bought these ingredience before and tried cooking with them and thought they weren't nice but prep kitchen ones taste nice and are filling. feel better only after a few days, stomach is no longer bloated and not through just eating salads with meat. Not having cravings for something more fulfilling because meals are varied, tasty and filling. 10/10 would recommend when they have offers on

"Poor Service"

Ordered and told delivery would be 06/01/25. Order didnt arrive and nothing from DPD.

Emailed their CS who responded - "Due to recent delays and weather conditions, we are unable to send any replacement meals at this time."

I'm told I'll be refunded in up to 10 days.

I only did a small amount of food shopping this week as well.

As a first time customer, pretty disappointing. I'll be taking my custom elsewhere.
