"Slow customer service but food is great"

So, the customer service was non existent for a little while. Their reply explains why. I did get a response after 3 days and two extra meals on my next order. I hope everything is back to normal because I really love their food and this was the only issue in over 6 months.

I've been using prepkitchen since last summer when I was very unwell and couldn't cook for myself.
Firstly, meals are delicious, I never have to add any seasoning. There's plenty of choice and new recipes are added fairly frequently. I travel a lot for work so I eat out a lot then, prepkitchen is very flexible with skipping weeks, can skip multiple at the same time if you're away for longer which is so useful.
They use DPD who I find are the best delivery company at the moment, never had any issues. Deliveries are Sundays and Mondays and it's very easy to switch from one to another too.
Meals are always fresh, packed very well, they come cooled down, I usually freeze everything that's not for next 2 days and they taste great heated up in the microwave.
New packaging with barcodes allows you to add them to myfitnespal easily if you track your calories too. Such a time saver.
You can exclude meals that are not your favourite and they will not be added automatically to your meal lost which I found nice. I change my meals sometimes when I fancy something, but I do let them surprise me too. There's some meals that are my absolute favorites for sure.
I know that some people might find them pricey, but I found that my grocery bill is so much lower and I don't crave takeout as much. And I have electric hob, my electric bill went down massively from cooking less. It still works out a bit higher, but with time saving and health benefits I think it's worth it.

Overall, great product. Quick, convenient and tasty! Great selection of different meals which are almost always good, and have solid protein content. Lacking in carbs/calories in general if you workout a lot but obviously requires supplementing with other meals/snacks during the day as well.

Some constructive feedback, please please please fix the packaging. It is impossible to open without a knife to cut through the plastic, meaning in the office I look a bit odd. Also, why the different shapes (circle vs square), I prefer square.

Would love to see this business take off.

"Great quality meals with no fuss"

Great quality meals with no fuss, myself snd my wife run our own company and the past year it has been a continuous drag to even begin thinking about cooking let alone knowing what on earth we actually have in the house when we get in so late, these meals have removed that stress from us entirely so an absolute life saver!

They only lose one star as the film lids are absolutely horrendous, you have to cut around them they do not peel in any way shape or form, get yhem sorted PK and you fan have your final star.. until then we're holding this one ransom.

"Tasty and Convenient Meals, but Packaging Could Use Improvement"

I've been using this food delivery service for a while now, and overall, I’m really impressed with the meals. The food is delicious, and the portions are just right for anyone looking to lose weight without feeling deprived. I’ve enjoyed trying the variety of dishes, and I always look forward to my next meal.

However, I do think there are some areas for improvement, specifically with the packaging. On a couple of occasions, I've received food trays that were damaged, which was a bit disappointing. The plastic film covering the trays is also a bit tricky to remove, making it frustrating to get to the food. Additionally, the labels are very sticky and can be hard to peel off without leaving residue behind.

I hope the company takes note of these packaging issues and makes improvements. A more user-friendly design would make the whole experience even better. Still, the food itself is fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for convenient, healthy meals!

I set up a subscription then got confused with what I was doing. Customer service were fantastic. Got my new subscription going and had my first meals today. Oh my goodness I’m so impressed with the quality and flavours. I never expect to be impressed but I really am. The food is delicious. I had one extra and one meal and the pasta bolognese tastes better than my homemade version which I did not expect. Very happy and got in protein and some of my 5 a day too in the meals. Great work Prep Kitchen and such good value for money.

Work long hours and often don’t have time or energy to cook in the evenings and tried Prep Kitchen to just give it a go. Best decision! Create selection of different tasty meals, with the option of selecting a size!

I was a bit skeptical at first because I had previously tried a meal prep company and it wasn’t very tasty. But then I switched to prep kitchen and my my is it wonderful.
It’s fresh and sooo tasty. They stick to your preferences and the meals are diverse and inclusive. I love spice and they have very good spice range.
Good value for money all in all.
