"Small portions "

These meals may be good for lunchtime, however for a main evening meal the portion size is tiny. I had lasagne which was nice enough but M&S is much tastier!

I’m quite a fussy eater so some of the meals I personally wasn’t a fan but it was flexible enough that I could pick and choose each week which ones I wanted in my delivery! They are really lovely meals!
However, the only negative is that I have had ongoing issues with delivery as mostly every week one or more meals had burst in transit which was not only messy(!) but meant I was 1, 2 or 3 meals down for the week and having to suddenly plan for those missing meals!
I absolutely cannot fault the customer service with me emailing almost weekly about the burst packaging and offering to replace those that were damaged!

"Genuinely excellent fresh food, it's unrivalled "

If you're wondering whether will be worth the money - honestly it is so much better than expected. The food is genuinely excellent quality, fresh, really tasty, spicy stuff is actually spicy etc (!) and we look forward to having these meals. I was skeptical as we've used AllPlants and other services before that were a bit lacking in flavour and tasted a bit ready meal-ish but this is in a different league. It's a game changer for us as with busy lives we need the convenience that Prep Kitchen affords us. So so so so good. Run don't walk.

I am trying out a few new meal prep options after the demise of AllPlants. PrepKitchen is pretty good and if you are a meat eater I think they would be a good choice. However, the vegetarian options are a little limited - although tasty - and this would be the main reason if I were to stop ordering. AllPlants had some great high protein veggie recipes - perhaps you could try to include some of those, like a high protein veggie bolognese or more options with tofu and seitan (there is a reliance on soy based meat alternatives). As others have noted the packaging is not great, and it is not very sustainable, with a lot of plastic waste. So, overall the core product is solid but there is a bit to do to make this the undisputed champion of the meal prep companies

"Best prep meals delivery company "

I've tried two other meals delivery companies and prepkitchen is the best. All the meals are tasty, and full of nutrients and if I don't like any, it's easy to choose and swap them on their website. There's a great choice of different meals for everyone's taste. That's true that the packaging it's a bit annoying as it's so tight that it can be open only with a knife but that's a plus for me. I live in Scotland so that's a long way for my parcel to be delivered, and it is always delivered in perfect condition. Customer service is quite good too, the best way to contact them is via Facebook messenger, I've got the reply to my enquiry in a few hours.

"Tiny portions "

I’m sorry they may be nutritionally on point and customer service is great but they would not feed a 5 year old. The portions of some of the meals are tiny. As a 5 foot 48kg female I need much more than provided. Therefore works out very expensive especially since I now have to spend extra at the supermarket now

Saves me time, I don't have to worry about a thing. I like their system of cycling through weeks A B C so I hardly have to do a thing to get a diverse range of meals every week. Highly recommended.

On the whole meals are very tasty with great flavours. Portions not large. I have a tendency to prep portions of veg ie tenderstem broccoli green beans etc. to bulk out. Like other reviewers the packaging is infuriating. If it’s not changing remove the tab and amend instructions. It’s impossible to remove without a knife. Again like previous reviewers what’s the idea behind circular and square containers? If your like me and inertia sets in you’ll be caught out with an order you didn’t want. Can this change on the website? Thanks and keep up the good work.
