Impossible to contact this company, emails to the addresses on their website bounce back every time and the telephone number is constantly engaged.
When I do get hold of them I am not renewing my dog policy.
The renewal quote was unacceptable anyway

"Dont use Insure Your Paws"
I sourced and bought my policy through a comparison website last year.
Unfortunately, I have had to claim recently for a mis-hap my dog has had. I have paid the vets bills directly, and the paperwork was sent to Insure Your Paws. After not hearing from them for a while, I decided to call them. The first thing they did was ask why the vet has referred to my dog as a ‘cross breed’ on the paperwork they have received, when they have her down as a ‘mixed breed’?...
After many hours on the phone, and lots of investigation, (as another review left here in May has highlighted), the comparison sites interface does not link properly with Insure Your Paws. Meaning your dogs breed will be mis-categorised on their policy, and you wont know anything about this, unless you ever need to make a claim.
They have told me that because I have referred to my dogs breed incorrectly they would have to refer the claim to the underwriters. This is not true, I did refer to my dogs breed correctly (a cross breed, and even detailed which 2 breeds).
I can evidence this easily from the comparison history in my account, which shows all these details were completely correct from the search to obtain the quotes, and the policy schedule sent subsequently. I have sent all this evidence, but to no avail and they are still “looking into it”.
The customer service / claims team are very pleasant to deal with but are at the mercy of the ‘policy team’ and the ‘underwriters’, who they are not able to contact directly and will keep you waiting for weeks (I am still waiting).
So far, would not recommend!

Be very careful if you go through Money Supermarket. Their interface does not link properly with Insure Your Paws and they can then decline your claim because the breed descriptors are different despite having entered the proper breed on Money Supermarket.
The customer service from Insure Your Paws has been appalling - waited months and months for underwriters to respond and then it is clear the facts haven’t been looked at properly despite the lady handling my complaint doing her best to help.
I strongly advise going elsewhere.

Got an email this morning to say I have missed a payment. A few issues with this
1 I pay by direct debit on the 28th of every month
2 it's a Saturday direct debits don't come out at the weekend
3 there's plenty of money in my account so payment should not have failed.
I'm honestly of the opinion that this is a sneaky attempt at trying to cancel my lifetime policy because of a recent claim I have made. Not good enough if I hadn't caught the email my policy would have been cancelled without my knowledge
