"Great value and upgrade"

I had a great experience with Drivo this past weekend. Shaun was super helpful and provided a free upgrade as a nice bonus. I was satisfied with their prices and paid exactly what I expected to per my estimate in the agreement.
Drop-off was very seamless once I made it to the location. Newark traffic, in general, is bad so give yourself plenty of time. I was 30 mins late from my expected drop-off due to +45 mins of unexpected standstill traffic a few miles away, but wasn't charged extra which was a relief.

it's been 16 days and you haven't sent me the deposit why??? hello I didn't get back the deposit of 500 dollars please send me the invoices I paid everything I had bridges and tunnels but I don't see the deposit in my account!

Beware of this company! DO NOT USE! At pick up they talked me into upgrading I asked for a small suv coincidently that only had one car available.which was not the one I wanted. The girl at the desk was so adamant on me taking this car, spent 10 mins encouraging me I feel so stupid now, even though I told her it’s just me, I fell for the bait. she encouraged me with good rate, the car is new only 5000 miles blah blah, and it still smelt horribly of marijuana. I had the car for seven days and drove it only 3 times because of snow falling in New York. Upon return they said the car had a scratch. Believe me I was shocked. I asked them to show the pick up video it was so convenient that all the still pics never had a direct shot of the side that has the scratch they were angled. We reviewed the pick up video which quickly glides across the damaged side but captures the car at a slower pace for the rest of the car **they knew what they were doing from the beginning**and the agent was able to see there were prior scratches on the car that was not recorded his response was the agent must of missed it. But due to diligence they have to run a claim. Received the report and though they said one scratch the repairs sheet had 15 repairs to be carried out under my claim. Exterior and interior! Beware! An insider told me they clean polish and spray damaged cars which of course wears off and then holds the person liable for damages they did not do. Now I have to argue the additional 14 repairs. And the questionable scratch. They have affected my child care payment. I will be contacting my lawyer and reporting them to consumer affairs.
DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SCAMMING OFF INNOCENT PEOPLE.

"CHEATERS in all aspects"

CHEATERS in all aspects. Do not book with them. Beware .

1). I booked a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and they gave Renault TRIBER to me instead.
They took rs 2100 security amount plus full rent amount on delivery.

2). I recharged the fastag with 500rs in the TRIBER they gave me , which was black listed on tolls( never told me ) n I had to pay double the amount twice. While going to Konark n coming back. Car no. .OD02bu5491

3.) After many requests they changed the car after 2 days.
I had to again recharge the fastag with rs 500, car no. .OD02bm6201
I used only 270 n rest was unused.

4). On returning the vehicle they put all kinds of tantrums and excuses for returning my security and fastag balance of rs 2100+ 730. And after I warned them of police complaint they just returned 2100 and promised to pay balance 730 within 24 hrs , which still they have not paid .

I am calling them regularly and sending text reminder on WhatsApp to which they are not responding.

My rs 730 to which they promised to pay is still due. It's a very small amount, which one would not bother , but they promised to pay in some stipulated time frame & did not do pay , so I feel cheated .

I advise everyone not to book from such false Company who cheat on you . People like them bring bad name to Orissa and other operaters in Bhubaneswar.

I will definitely file a police complaint online on them soon .

I was charged $2030 for a barely visible scratch on the rental car. It was complete highway robbery do not rent from these guys they r completely crooked

It was truly an excellent experience renting with Drivo. I was notified and reminded as soon as we landed at JFK. Directions to the car rental company were precise. The shuttle from the airport to the rental company was on time and it was a short drive. The check-in process was quick. 15 minutes and we were on our way. The car was clean and spacious.

"FRAUDULENT - READ before renting"

Everyone Google search “DRIVO NJ.gov fraud” prior to renting because it WILL happen to you.

A scam company that makes $$$ off fabricating pre-existing damage and will charge you thousands of dollars in fake repairs once you return the vehicle. Horrible experience.

Service was ok renting for the couple days but on my return I was very disappointed on gas charges to my account I took offend to that and said I'm not renting from your company anymore

I left a review a few minutes ago but forgot to mention having to wait an extra 15 minutes on top of all the other waiting for them to clean the car AND it STUNK of cigarette smoke.
