The staff was very unprofessional, and non-cooperative. They didnt share the correct information with me. Asked me to get the FastTag recharged and later refused to give the balance money back. The overall experience was pretty bad with them

"Though our wait for the shuttle at the…"
Though our wait for the shuttle at the airport was a bit long and then again once we arrived at the rental office (it was obvious they were very busy), Miron was quite pleasant and efficient and even upgraded us to a larger car for no extra charge and we were out of there rather quickly after that. The return was much faster and the shuttle back to the airport was quick, thankfully. We would definitely us Ace again.

"If I have to give a star to review."
If I have to give a star to review, that’s why I did. They canceled my car when I got to the airport, just texted sorry no car available, I had a reservation guess that doesn’t count. Plus I made the reservation with Expedia and they still charged me for the insurance. Try dealing with Expedia, impossible.
But after many calls and e-mails Expedia finally refunded my money. So hang in there.

"The worst rental car company"
The worst rental car company I ever used. I booked my rental car with them through a kayak as it was the cheapest option and I paid for it dearly. First, they charged $45 a day "fence violation fee" because I took the car to Canada. They also charged me a full extra day plus the fence violation fee for being 1 hour late to return the car. They added another "facility fee" and other hidden fees, such that my total bill l was a double of what they advertised On top of it, a month later, they charged me $175 ( $125 speed violation +$50 admin fee). Don't repeat my mistake - they lure you in with the lowest price and then add all the hidden fees.

"Horrible condition of car"
I picked my car up and noticed how bad of condition the vehicle was in especially the engine so loud when the car was on. I asked for a different car and was told there were no mid-size left and if I wanted something else I would have to pay the difference when the reasoning for needing a different car was not my fault. In previous reviews online the same agent helping me offered free upgrades to other customers due to no inventory or issues will originally issued cars with out their request. I then was offered another car that was even filthier, loud engine, cigarette burns and stains on all the seats and floors and SMELLED VERY BAD ESPECIALLY WHEN THE AC WAS ON and this week it was 90 degrees so the AC was much needed. I was unable to drive my children in this car. The car was very slow and hard to drive in NYC traffic. Horrible way to spend the week and spend my money. I have photos for proof but this review will not allow me to upload them.

"It was a very unpleasant experience"
It was a very unpleasant experience. I won't ever use Drivo again! The only one nice person in the whole company was the shuttle driver. It was a hassle to communicate at the JFK Airport about the Shuttle. It took about an hour for it to come. Then we had to stay inline in the heat in a room with no AC for another hour and a half or two to get into the office. The rental car had some scratches, little bumps and a loose bumper that seemed to be glued to the car. They inspected the car and recorded it with an iPad. As I tried to take some pictures myself, they said they would send to me a copy of the inspection which they never did. I took pics and a video anyway to cover my back. I'm glad I did.
I rented the car for about 4 days and was in Niagara Falls (CA) for a day and a half. They had told me that if I would drive the car out into a not permitted area I will have to pay a penalty of $35 a day. Their GPS located the car the very day I entered Canada, which was documented in a text message they sent me. They charged me $35 dollars for the 4 days of the rental time ($170 total) even though I was in Niagara Falls only 1 day a a half. Upon returning the car, I requested to speak to the manager to ask him to honor the content of the message sent ($35 a day for every day we go outside the permitted area of the contract). He was very disrespectful and dismissive. No willingness to answer questions or resolve issues. He ignored me and kept working while I was talking to him. Very disappointed. I should have read the reviews before. Horrible experience. Oh.. I didn't comment on the toll bill they passed onto me... there are other reviews about this as well.
The company has a history of consumer fraud allegations. "Hidden fees"
I waited over 30 minutes to be picked up from the airport. I waited over an hour in their lobby because they didn’t have any cars available. They lied about the prices online. To make matters worse the overcharged me $100 for their insurance which I declined. I didn’t need nor want their’s because I had my own FULL coverage. They do not have a EZ pass for tolls so I had to pay full price for every toll plus an additional $6.95 per day for using it. This company is deceitful and they’re thieves. Stay away.

"Perfect location across from Newark airport"
Perfect location across from Newark Airport literally took 5 minutes to drive and get the rental. All employees were top notch and treated us with respect. Will rent again from these guys for sure. Trey Palumbo

"It was a last minute rental"
It was a last minute rental because I didn't have a ride to get to where I was going and I didn't have a ride to get back to the airport .I had my daughter with me and didn't want to wait around for a Uber so I went rented from drivo it was quick easy and out in about 45 minutes thank you so much
