"A history of insurance fraud"

I rented a car from this company over a year ago and on returning it as I received it was later told I owed them over $2,000 for "damage" to the vehicle. When I contacted my insurance company, they knew who this company was and informed me that they would not pay due to a history of insurance fraud claims. My credit card company also rejected their claim. They are still trying to collect from me which is not going to happen.

"Rental Priceline, don't rent from ACE NYC"

I rented the car in Priceline. The rental agreement wasn't clear about "boundary restrictions". If the information was in red or had a map about these restrictions, I would have not rented from ACE (NYC) because I was driving the car to states outside what the company allows. I would have rented from a different company and paid less.
I received clarifying information when I picked up the car as the customer representative showed me the map about the boundary restrictions. I incurred additional charges because I was driving to the states outside ACE's set boundaries. Additional, why should a customer have to pay $25 per day for the entire rental agreement, instead of just the days that the car is in those restricted states?
My whole experience was terrible and I ended up paying a lot more than expected. I would not rent from ACE in NYC again. I cannot provide the names of the states you're allowed and not allowed to drive to, as I can't recall all that information.
