"Complete farce"

Complete farce. Do not use this company. Booked with them for Manchester airport and they didn't turn up. It was early morning. The mobile phone number was switched off. No calls to ask where we were. No follow up... The company you book through is not the company that does the actual parking. airportparking essentials will disown your review quoting that they are just a booking site. They shouldn't be taking bookings for companies that don't provide the service. It will cost you dearly if you use this company. be warned.

"Luton airport"

Went from Luton. Had an easy drop off. Called on our return and got though to the car a bit quicker than we thought we would so had to wait about 15 minutes.... wasn't a problem as we were early

"We booked them for Stansted and we…"

We booked them for Stansted and we telephoned as requested twenty minutes before arriving and they were waiting for us very polite and helpful, it was just outside the entrance to the terminal so no catching a bus. On our return we telephoned when we had collected the luggage they were waiting for us. Excellent service and we have booked them again for a future trip.

"No stars worst firm ever"

I have had to leave one star rating to procede ,I wouldn’t give any !Booked a meet and greet at Manchester 23/02/19 to 02/03/19,dropped car off ,returned and rang mobile number,no answer ,kept ringing for 2 hours,rang office ,out of hours call when office open.Kept calling mobile till it was switched off .Got a taxi home to liverpool,arrived home after 3am.Was woken up just after 5 am by a.p.e representative telling me he was sorry the night driver had fallen asleep in a customers car but not to worry has he is sacked .Was informed my car would be dropped off at my home addresss mid morning.mid morning came and went ,numerous calls later informed I would have to pick my car up myself,if the liar hadn’t kept stringing me along I could of done this at 8am instead of 12 noon ar was filthy inside and out covered in mud,usb lead had been taken from front console.Was lied to repeatedly,APE do not have any drivers at any airport so it could be anyone taking your car.will not be using them ever again,worst experience of parking in over 20 years,do not touch this firm with a barge pole.Am in the process of claiming taxi fares back but I am not holding my breath.

"STOLEN KEYS"

I used this this company to book my parking at Heathrow in November 2018.
on Sunday 11th of November i received a call to say that my keys had been stolen!
As I was working away i had to arrange for my spare keys to be taken to London!
I was subsequently contacted in December stating that my keys had been retrieved and asking for my home address so they could be posted on!
I never received my keys and have been unable to contact the agents WCP since!
I have spoken to Airpot Essentials on several occasions regarding this matter but every time i get fobbed off and told that someone will call back by 5pm
I am still trying to resolve this situation and its now Feb 2019!!!!

"DO NOT USE"

I actually thought I'd paid this company to steal my car!

Thursday 6th December, there was an issue with the 02 network and I was one of the people affected by this. I kept calm and headed to the meeting point as I knew you had my flight details and probably had the foresight to understand people would be affected by this issue. Alas no, I headed back to the airport and borrowed a phone from a nice Swiss gentleman who was understandably concerned with how much this call would cost him. The guy from your office told me he'd call me back on the number I'd called from. 20 minutes later I still and not received a return phone call, so I called back. He said the dates had been mixed up on the booking, apologised for the inconvenience and told me to proceed to the meeting point where my driver and car would meet me within 20 minutes.

After 45 minutes of waiting in the cold, I called back (I think the same guy answered) he told me he'd call the driver to find out what was going on and ring me back. He never called back. So I phoned again, (same guy answered, I think) told me he'd spoken to the driver and he said the traffic was bad so he'd be another 15 minutes.

25 minutes later I called back again... (same guy I think answered) told me he'd ring the driver to find out where he was and call me back. To which my reply was 'are you actually going to call me back?' 'yes, yes of course came the reply (okay bit naive of me but I believed the guy) he did not call back. After 10 minuets, I called him again he told me the driver would be with me in 10 minuets I said 'is this a real 10 minutes this time?' Yeah, I've spoken to the driver' then hung up. So okay, I'm guessing he didn't really speak the driver previously? I don't know.

Anyway, I realised 5pm was fast approaching and he'd claimed the driver he spoke to was 10 minutes away at 4:50 so between 5 I was constantly redialling and it was ringing out to a full mail box where I could not leave a message. Then 5pm came and office hours ended. I went into a complete panic, stranded at the airport believing my car had been stolen and I'd paid you to steal it.

I realised I had the mobile number of the guy who'd picked the car up from me at the drop off but that went to voicemail where I left a very teary message begging him to call me back and explain what was happening. He didn't call me back so, 20 minuets later I decided to give his number one last try before I called the police. Hurrah, he answered!

He then explained to me, because there had been confusion with the pick up date my car was blocked in the parking lot and it was going to take him a while to get it out but he'd be with me in the next 20 minutes. He then called back 10 minutes later to say he was going to be a little longer as the traffic was bad I replied that it wasn't an issue but I wanted to confirm he was actually sitting in my vehicle and telling the truth.

As it turns out, he was telling the truth and not all of your staff are liars.

He was with me within 30 minutes or so. But I had been waiting outside in the cold for 3 hours because of you colleagues’ blatant lies! I am furious, if he'd been honest and said 'I'm really sorry but due to a clerical error, it's going to take us 3 hours to get to you' I'd of felt inconvenienced but I could have stayed in the airport, and continued working. Which wouldn’t have sent me into a panic, or left me freezing cold, or completely wasted my time.

He quite clearly was not talking to any 'driver' because the car was still at the car park when I spoke to the other guy. I genuinely thought you were a scam company who'd stolen car and had given me the run around. I cried so much, the car park cleaner gave me a bloody hug.

I sent them this complaint a month ago and haven't heard anything back although they continue to send me discount codes which `I didn't opt in for.

"Drop off good but return awful"

Drop off was seamless and easy but on collecting our vehicle we had to wait 1hr 10mins from when I called from luggage collection. The guy originally said it would be 30-45mins and I had to call a further 2 more times to track down where my vehicle was. Eventually it arrived (after we were stood cold in the parking area) and the drivers side floor-mat was covered in mud. We can only assume it had been parked in a muddy area, no care is taken with the drivers. The worst bit, the car stank of cigarette smoke. It was in the air vents so we can only assume someone smoked in our car and by putting the air vents on to get rid of the smell it actually ingrained it in the ventilation system. WILL NEVER ENTRUST MY CAR TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Very Pleased with the service, I even had a call on my way to the Airport as it was an early flight saved me calling. staff were friendly and polite.

Will be using them again.
