Shocking customer service no contact or reply to messages
Called and emails multiple times an engineer came to my house to complete boiler service he advised that my boiler needs an upgrade
I have been waiting for contact for months
Emailed and called for update no one is responding
It’s been a nightmare from beginning
Will never recommend to anyone

"Appalling customers service"

Appalling customers service. I cannot get hold of anyone left multiple messages and emails my carbon monoxide alarm was going off so had no heating or hot water as had to switch off the boiler and they didn’t care. Haven’t had a service in 2 years ! Do not touch them - awful company worst I’ve ever dealt with.

"Absolutely disgraceful company"

Absolutely disgraceful company we have a 7 week old baby in the house and a boiler which is not working properly and after weeks of calling and having to pay for some work ourselves even though it should be covered we finally get someone on the phone to explain the issue to be told they will have to arrange a engineer to come out and still nothing!! Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!!
We are now seeking legal advice!

Had not hot water and heating since December they were supposed to send engineer out on the 23rd December and did not show up I have emailed them 10 times and numerous phone calls and they still have not responded we have been paying them direct debit for the last 10 years very poor service they should be shut down

Have been trying to contact them since beginning of December by phone, email amd thier contact form to arrange a boiler service,
Have had no response but they are still taking my direct debit on time.

"Scam company "

What an appalling company to deal with. I have been trying to get my boiler serviced since October 24. So far nothing. Several emails, several voicemails. Only a handful of replys and none of them helpful. I am now trying to raise a complaint to them which the website says they will investigate. So far nothing. They take £41 each month out of my account and I get nothing in return. For God's sake don't deal with these cowboys.

"Nothing but hassle boilers! Worst customer service imaginable "

This is the worst company that we have ever had to deal with! They do not answer phones or reply to emails. We have had a boiler with them for 7 years under one of their schemes where we pay monthly for boiler servicing and repair. We have now not had hot water since mid November , we have 3 children living at the house who have not been able to wash in hot water since November, it is now the middle of January. We have sent countless emails to them asking for them to come and fix the problem they all go ignored, We have even contacted the CEO!! Guess what ignored! We are unable to even get an alternative plumber to fix the boiler as we are tied into a contract with hassle free boilers ( the irony of that name) At this stage we are at out whit's end and simply do not know what do do. We cannot express strongly enough how poor the customer service is with this company. Do not use for anything associated with your boiler !!!!!! I phoned an alternative boiler company this morning who offer the same service, they answered the phone instantly were extremely helpful and horrified at the poor service we are experiencing form Hassle free boilers. Oh how I wish I have not gone with Hassle free boilers ! 4 weeks with no water and they simply ignore the emails and calls!!!!!!

"Shockingly poor aftersales"

Shockingly poor aftersales and emergency cover. Phoneline has very limited opening hours and e-mail responses are hit and miss.

Initial service was efficient and great. I'd pray that your boiler doesn't get a problem, but that will not happen. Boilers, area valves, existing pipes, and much more can and will go wrong over the course of your agreement with HFB.

They are not hassle free. I wonder whether their name is in breech of the Trades Description Act?
