If I could score '0' I would - appauling all round experience! Don't do it - save yourself the issues (and time trying to sort them out!), go with someone else although beware, Great Magazines are Bauer Media Subscriptions - all seem to be 'interlinked'

Beware. When you order a magazine subscription from these charlatans (in my case Country Walking) it will be a continuous credit card payment with no end date. They will automatically take the following year's subscription early and without any notification. Warning - check your initial confirmation email for the small print and if you do not want the following year's subscription cancel many months before your renewal date.
On the plus side, my magazines arrived in a timely fashion.

Emailed them to cancel my magazine subscription.
Was emailed back saying that had been done.
3 days later, was charged for another 12 months, despite the fact the last magazine of my original subscription is Feb. 2022!

If I could leave less stars I would. The whole experience with 'great magazines' has been the complete opposite of great. I purchased a course fishing magazine subscription last year for my dad and it would arrive fairly sporadically. At the time I put it down to the ongoing pandemic. I wasn't going to renew the subscription but at the end of the subscription period it automatically renewed again and payment was taken. Be extremely cautious if you do decide to take out a subscription as it will continue unless you cancel (not tge most straightforward process in itself). As the subscription continued from june I expected that the magazine would arrive monthly as stated. Since June my dad has received 1 magazine!!! There's no way to contact the company to complain or even query what on earth is going on. I'm pretty sure that the company has no intention of resolving issues (or whether magazines have even been dispatched in the first place). The customer service is non existent which in itself is abysmal.
Avoid at all costs, save yourself the hassle.

"Beware this is a scam"
Beware this is a scam. Takes money and pretends to never have received it. Had to get the charges reversed by my bank after filing a fraud report. Customer service department is totally useless. The same template answer received 10 times that didn’t address any of my issues.

Tried 3 times to subscribe to the magazine Trail and 3 time unsuccessful, so they want you to call them direct, which I done and then get through the customer services in the Philippines, to then find they don't understand what you are asking and not go a clue about what they are selling or offering, and then I think, Is this a fraud/con, so I hung up the phone, to then see the reviews after this and have made up my mind I will not bother going ahead with the subscription.

Took out a subscription but read reviews ( I know I should have read them before) so called to cancel under their 14 day cooling off period. 14 days have passed and still no refund. Called and e-mailed, they e-mailed back saying they were unable to refund me and will send a cheque!! But it will take up to 28 days -I small a rat!

BEWARE! Paid in full a 12 month subscription and 10 months later noticed they had taken out a further 12 month payment.When I questioned this they refused to cancel stating the process for the next year was already in place and referred me to the small print.
I will never use this company again.

Rubbish company. Ordered a digital copy of a magazine but cannot actually read it despite entering all my details correctly on the app.

"Paid online BUT magazine didn’t arrive"
Paid online BUT magazine didn’t arrive. Was ordered again, and never arrived. So, 2 magazine “lost in the post” . Hard to believe. This was followed by crap customer service. All I got was automated email replies to my complaints, no human intervention. Eventually had to open a case with PayPal to get a refund. All over a £5 magazine! I guess they were hoping I wouldn’t persist over a £5 refund… I'll never buy from them again.
