This is the first time I've taken out pet insurance and as a first timer it seemed to be a minefield of different pet insurance companies and covers .I found Argos very competitive on price and there different covers were easily understood and the online applications were very user friendly would definitely recommend.

I’ve been a loyal customer for nearly 8 years. I have 2 pets insured with them. My dog is very ill, his got a chronic condition of his spine and hips. They don’t want to pay me back my resent claim for over £600 saying that my policy had got some time limit per condition. What a bunch of liars !!!! They will do everything not to pay you your money!!! Avoid

Dreadful. Avoid. Transferred my policy over a few weeks before the renewal and was accepted and then after the renewal date received a message via my portal log in. Logged in to see that they have cancelled the policy due to my dog having distemper (she hasn’t) - dog is currently uninsured. Should have stayed with Petplan.

Had to use my Argos pet insurance when my dog was rushed into the vets and had an overnight stay.
The whole process was so easy and stress free, the vets and argos dealt with it all between them and I even received a refund of £166 after the claim was settled from the deposit I had paid!
