Ordered a pair of boots from their sale site, paid £190 and receivved a confirmation immediately stating delivery would be in 3 to 5 working days and I would be notified when the boots were despatched. 7 days later no notification or communication, I began to wonder if I had been scammed as I understood Barkers to be a prestige brand, not so . I emailed to be told that they did not have the boots in stock and would I like a refund or choose an alternative product no apology for the lack of customer service., I chose a refund which in fairness was quickly arranged. I checked on their site again only to find the same boot advertised as in stock at full price, I had been scammed after all by Barkers !!! will not use again ever and will relate my experience to all willing to listen.

I am overseas buyer from the United Arab Emirates, recently in the pre- Christmas sales ordered a pair of Barker shoes. When the shoes arrived the left shoe had marks & scuffs therefore I contacted the Barkers team immediately. Subsequently it transpired the item was not sent from the warehouse but it was sent from a store where probably it was tried by a few customers. I asked for a full refund & the team immediately arranged for a pickup from the UAE at their own expense. The shoes were delivered back to the Barkers UK & I was refunded the full amount within a few days. I was in contact with Mr Shubham Pandey, the senior marketing manager, who took personal interest in my case & promptly arranged for the pick up & the refund. I found him extremely helpful, professional & courteous & for going out of the way to get me the refund. Fully recommend Barkers to anyone.
