The order was delivered in 2 parts and 1 item cancelled which was disappointing. The shoes of course are great, my husband has many pairs, the service was somewhat lacking.

I don’t like writing negative reviews but I feel I must after my online experience with Barker. I ordered a pair of boots during the Christmas period. I wanted an update on my order delivery as I was unable to check myself because I had no tracking number. Consulted their Chat option “Sofiya”. My order was not found. Emailed customer service - No reply. Emailed again after a week - No reply. Raised a ticket via Sofiya - no reply. When my boots finally arrived i was so disappointed with the whole experience that I brought them to my nearest store for a refund. This was my first and certainly my last time I will ever do business with this shoemaker again.

"Good but..."

These are well made but suffer from the sides being too high, which then catch on the ankle bone. Will have to get inserts to lift the heel above the rim of the shoe to alleviate the problem. Otherwise, a good pair of shoes

Excellent Chukkas top quality and really well made. Well impressed and also the addition of extra laces and a shoe horn

The usual high quality shoes "Grant red suede"but I have to say was surprised not to receive the usual spare laces and shoe horn .

When the boots arrived, they were much narrower and pointed than the photos on the website, in fact, they looked nothing like them

The experience was not good for me because when I wanted to change my address, I never got any response. I sent four emails and I even tried to call. There’s no number that you can call.

I purchased my Barker shoes on line over the Christmas holidays and they arrived in good time. I am enjoying the lovely quality of the leather and fit. Will definitely buy again.
