I ordered a pair of £400 shoes from them. I find i cannot wear them as they are so uncomfortable. Unfortunately I was away working when they arrived. I asked for assistance but got little or no help. Very disappointed

Returned my shoes over a week ago heard anything. Feeling very unlikely I’m going to get my money back as they are completely unreachable - you can’t speak to anyone.

Barker make good shoes but customer service is dreadful. Don’t buy online!!

"Facebook Ad purchase."

I ordered online via a Facebook ad.
I clicked size 9 but, apparently, I ordered size 6.
The return process was faultless,?even though I had to pay for the privilege.
Great customer communication and perfectly handled by DPD.
I now have my size 9 Pilkington shoes.
On placing these side by side with my Loake size 9 shoes with a similar Last and width fitting, the Pilkingtons are a bit longer.
The tongues of both shoes cut into the instep of my feet and the left shoe disfigures when laces are tied.
I cannot be bothered to return them so will take them to my local cobbler, to see if the tongue ends can be reduced or softened so they are not like knives.
Let me be clear, the shoes are super high quality but I have learned that I should go to the Earls Barton shop to buy in future, to avoid repeats of this experience.
To me, the shoes are marked size 9 but seem to be 9.5.

I bought online a pair of shoes for my husband for his Christmas present and the wrong size arrived.
It was very disappointing and nobody answered at customer service. Awful support service. I returned them having to pay for the return when it was not my fault and after 2 weeks I haven’t received any notification.

Lovely shoes.🙂 Won't get a true feel for the shoes till Summer as they were bought for Holidays, but they are very good quality. 👍

"Fab Shoes"

I bought a pair of shoes in the January sals and they are a great fit and look fab. These are my second pair of Barker shoes. The first were quite 'hard' on the feet to start with and took a while to break in, but are now great and give the impression they will last forever. This second pair are far 'softer' and are comfortable straight out of the box.
