"Plant small and in poor condition."

Bought a white bird of paradise plant from them at a very good price, unfortunately after it arrived poorly packaged and under the size advertised I see why. Half the soil was thrown out inside the cardboard box and the cellophane wrapping was very poor.

It has since started to wilt and die within a few days, showing signs of black marks on the plant. I went to look for a customer service number and found this page. Wish I had saw here before ordering. I won't bother contacting them as the hassle others have experienced doesn't seem worth the effort.

Stick to a known alternative retailer with better reviews instead. Lesson learned.

"Dishonest people"

This business is dishonest. I bought a mid size plant and sent a much smaller version that worth 60% less. Despite all evidence, the customer service insisted it was the correct but just smaller from their supplier. Have to waste a lot of time email back and forth, still asking for a refund. I wouldn't come back and advice people don't make any order from them to save your hard earned money and precious time.

As an advice, if you want your business run long, please do your business honestly. Otherwise you would never been able to build your loyal customer base.

"I'm currently in talks with Oxy…"

I'm currently in talks with Oxy customer service as my plants were sent when it was too cold. They're all really struggling from the shock and even as an experienced plant carer. I'm struggling to help them.

The monstera has black spotted leaves and it's new growth was black and all had to be cut off. I fear it's a fungus and I'll not be able to save it. The fern is also struggling to bounce back as is my prayer plant. They also brought gnats in.

I've reached out to customer service with photos. It's worth mentioning I reached out after checking trustpilot and asked them to delay my order so this wouldn't happen. Alas, it has.

I cannot afford to lose £60 to dead plants in this economy so, I hope they rectify this issue and I'll be able to change my review.
Only giving the extra star at Marika on customer service was helpful to begin with...

Hopefully, I won't have to take it up with PayPal and their customer service come up with a solution 🤞🏼

*Update: customer services won't help as I was a day over their refund policy (it seems they don't give refunds anyway) after I'd asked them NOT to send the parcel so this wouldn't happen. They held it for a few days and sent it during the freezing weather instead and now wash their hands of it. I am requesting my refund via PayPal.

Do not make payments to these companies on your card as unfortunately, they just can't be trusted.

I've never had an issue with Patch plants! Slightly more expensive but the quality is unmatched.

"Rotten customer service"

Rotten customer service. Sent a small plant when I wanted a large one and the back and forth with emails was exhausting and they could have just sent out something with impact.
They clearly have no interest in keeping genuine customers happy.
I will never use them again for house plants.
Avoid this company guys!

"Bought a large areca palm and some…"

Bought a large areca palm and some smaller plants. The plants were packaged poorly, and the areca palm had fungal spots and deteriorated quickly after arrival. A replacement was sent, but it died quickly. Possibly problems at the nursery, and with plants getting cold during delivery?

"Mixed feelings"

I ordered a plant pot from them a few months ago, decent price, nice pot, pretty quick delivery - all good.

I recently ordered another pot but unfortunately this one arrived damaged. I put this down to a careless delivery driver - it happens. When I contacted Oxy plants they replied very quickly and arranged a swift replacement - again, all good.

The thing I wasn't impressed with, was the plant that I purchased with the same order. It wasn't in great condition - the few leaves left on it were pretty much dead (it's supposed to be a leafy cactus with many leaves branching off). The main body of the cactus is still alive but looks slightly damaged, like bits have been pulled off. It was on offer but still I expected better for the price - I wouldn't have purchased one off the shelf like this. Hoping it comes to life.

"Terrible Quality and Terrible Customer Support"

I had a truly disappointing experience with Oxy-Plants and would not recommend them. I should have read their reviews online before ordering and recommend everyone take a look on google and instagram. I ordered two Bird of Paradise plants, and while one arrived in ok condition, the other was clearly damaged from the start. Within days, it began wilting, tilting, and showing signs of poor health. Despite following their care instructions to the letter, the plant continued to deteriorate.

I reached out to customer service immediately, but instead of offering a solution, Marika responded with vague advice and contradictory claims. First, they blamed overwatering, then underwatering, then too much sunlight, then not enough—none of which made sense given that my other Bird of Paradise, placed in the exact same conditions, is thriving. After weeks of back-and-forth emails and two frustrating phone calls with Marika, I was met with nothing but excuses and refusal to take responsibility. To top it off, they even accused me of repotting the plant—something I never did.

In the end, their "solution" was to offer a mere 20% refund for a plant they delivered in poor condition. This level of service is unacceptable.

Oxy-Plants might be cheaper than competitors like Patch Plants or Beards & Daisies, but you truly get what you pay for. With those companies, I’ve always received high-quality plants and outstanding customer service. Oxy-Plants, on the other hand, sells subpar products and refuses to stand by them. If you’re looking for healthy, well-cared-for plants and a company that actually values its customers, I strongly advise shopping elsewhere.

"Dreadful delivery service delivered…"

Dreadful delivery service delivered twice to the wrong address and left on the side of the road. I would not use again.
Seriously need to sort this out otherwise they will be out of business.

"I wish I had read these reviews before…"

I wish I had read these reviews before buying a plant for over £50 from this useless company.

The plant arrived in bad shape and it’s pretty much dead within circa two weeks. That’s £60 down the drain.

Little to no customer service, just what appears to be a robot repeating the distance selling regulation / their terms and conditions of returns and refunds within 14 days. No apology for the poor standard of the product, no offer of a replacement, nothing!

They are clearly a company that does not value their customers or expect much from their products. I would stay well clear.
