"Not Trustworty??"
Below is a copy of an email I received from James a director of Trade Plumbing.co.uk It follows on from a conversation I had with James about a Phoenix bathroom towel rail which had rusted after 2 years. Indeed this towel rail was a replacement for the previous Phoenix bathroom towel rail which also rusted!!
I requested a refund under the 5 year manufacturer guarantee and said I would then order a replacement towel rail from an alternative manufacturer. I ordered the alternative towel rail from Trade plumbing on the basis of the email posted below which states I would receive a refund for the rusty one.
Sadly, Trade plumbing have now reneged on their promise to issue a refund....

The plan to move forward we shall refund the old order back to yourself and for the new rad we can't swoop over on the same order so you would need to place a new order for this one
I do have a discount for reina which would give you some money off on this also

Excellent service, the company realised one of the descriptions was a bit ambiguous but sorted the issue straight away. Unfortunately that kind of service is becoming more unusual these days, so well done Trade Plumbing.

Placed an order on 19/06/2024 Phoned up before to make sure delivery time scales where correct as stated 1-2 working days on the radiators that i wanted , spoke to the customer service team which stated they would be with me the following day and true to there word they arrived the next morning

Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience for me.
Firstly after ordering I had to chase for delivery details, then on delivery I measured the radiator to find it was 26mm bigger than advertised, rendering it to big to fit the pipework. After proving it was the incorrect size, trade plumbing stated that the manufacturer had supplied the wrong sizing details for the website. Trade plumbing said they needed to update it on their website.
No apology for the mistake.
Returning was equally as troublesome which trade plumbing have blamed on their courier.
Returned at no cost to myself & full refund.
Personally I won't be using them again.
Cannot comment on quality of the product as I didn't unbox it.

Good service however secondary return on cylinder was not positioned as requested so could not be used.

I communicated with the company via the messaging service on their website and was quickly able to find out the information I needed from Jeanine. The delivery service was good, part of the order arrived the next day, and the rest two days later, in plenty of time for installation.

Brought a new hot waters cylinder from Trade plumbing . Was a slight delay in my order but this was communicated brilliant by the customer Service team would definitely recommend Trade plumbing and would use this company again in the future

Helpful when phoning to place an order for a radiator, then had to email and chase expected delivery slot several times. Eventually phoned the radiator manufacturer to find out when they delivered to my area...Disappointed with the ropey customer service from Trade Plumbing
