Technician did a very effective job installing new alarm panel.

"Absolutely horrible==Do not use Ackerman"

Absolutely horrible. I have tried to cancel for over a year and a half. I sent a letter per the customer service instructions in March 2020. They continued to charge me. I have had several calls to customer service and supervisors. They say they will send a form and don't. Please do what Clark Howard says and do not use anyone who requires a contract. They never told me there was a contract and I wouldn't have started the service had I known. When I asked to see a copy of the contract, they told me they could not find one.

"Leaving Ackerman"

Leaving Ackerman has been a real pain. First I had to submit a cancellation due to a move by certified mail. It was received by the office according to the tracking information and the cancellation still has not been processed nearly a month later. If they are so poor to respond when something isn’t an emergency, I hate to think what their response is like when I would have needed them. Go with ADT or another competitor. It might be more expensive, but this hassle isn’t worth it.

Both your salesman and installed arrived on time, were courteous and the installer was excellent in his work and help understanding how the "new" system worked.

Daniel Cottrell, was very courteous and polite. He took time to fully explain the system, and how to use the Ackerman app. Daniel addressed all questions I had about set-up. Because of his thoroughness with changing over my alarm system to cellular, I feel more comfortable in my home.

Pretty good service. Cancelling the service when you’re moving takes 5 weeks and signed letters + checks in the mail. Would not use them again.
