"Cultural problem with Macquarie Park store staff"
On Friday evening, I purchased a gift for my partner from JD Sport Macquarie Park. I purchased a pair of shoes and a jumper. The shop assistant placed the purchases in a bag. I took them home and later wrapped them, his birthday was the next day. The next morning, he opened his presents and as we were going out for the day, put the new shoes and jumper on, removing the tags. When we were in the car, we could snell this awful smell. We thought there was something in the car so we took our car to a car wash and got them to do a internal clean, which cost $250. While the car was being cleaned, we went to our planned event. We could still smell this awful smell. We then realised it was the jumper. So he took it off and sealed it in a bag. On the way back from our event, we stopped at JD Sport Macquarie Park to exchange the jumper for a clean one. I had the receipt but not the tags.
The response from your shop assistants was rude and dismissive when I explained the above. They told me that they didn't know what had happened since i bought it, it wasn't in as new condition because of the smell and so it couldn't be returned. Their recommendation was to take it home and air it. I left the store very disappointed by their response.
It is my opinion that you have a cultural problem with your staff in that store, I haven't ever had good service in that store and neither has my partner. It is possible that your staff are wearing your products and then returning them to the shelves for customers to buy.
I will not be shoppimg at JD Sports again and will be lodging a complaint with NSW Fair Trading.

If I could give minus score I would. We went to your cockburn store yesterday and purchased mens size 11(aus/uk) shoes, when we got them home we had been given us 11. When we returned them the store manager was incredibly rude and stated us 11 are aus 11, every other shoe store including style tread confirms men's UK and aus are the same size, when we showed her screenshots to prove this she said I'm just trying to educate you!
Im unsure why JD sports has their own sizing as apparently they match both mens and womens aus size to us size, every other shoe retailer matches womens us and aus and mens uk and aus?
Then when we again stated it she mockingly turned to the staff around her and said, did you hear that, that's the first time I've ever been told that. I've never had such a terrible customer service experience, so incredibly rude, disrespectful and condescending when all she had to do was exchange sizes

If I could apply a minus score I would. Tried to exchange a jacket that had been bought less than 2 hours prior because we discovered marks on it. Tag had been removed but I had the receipt and staff refused to exchange. Apparently they can get the marks out so the tag is needed to exchange. No doubt they would sell it at the price of a new jacket too. Had tried to call 5 times prior to driving 1/2 hour back and phone hung up every time. Extremely poor customer service and will never shop here again nor recommend anyone else use this store.
Returned less than 30min after initial contact and was refused the exchange. Never shopping here again

Please adapt the EU UK US option in a tab on your webpage to choose shoe sizing. NOT SIZE GUIDE.
I purchased 3 pairs of amazing shoes. I didnt know they were mens sizing. Doesnt give you proper explanation. I ordered my size US9. 2 pairs came in Mens EU42.5, i had to return which left me so disappointed. I wanted these shoes. I Love Shopping at JD, but this has really made me MAD. its happened so often. The Shoes were a Mothers Day Choice (FOR MUM) on the webpage but they UNISEX. Please adapt Footlocker Sizing Tabs to Choose from EU,US or UK. I ended up returning and buying 6 pairs off Footlocker Webpage coz of the simplicity and quick purchase turnaround.
Please fix it.

Portray themselves as a local retailer - goods come from over overseas. Heaven help me if I have to return them for some reason.
Should have read other reviews before purchasing.
Hope they don't go broke before my goods are delivered.

A whole row of a particular pair of kids Jordan shoes were advertised as “take a further 20% off”. After confirming this with two staff members and proceeding to purchase we were charged full price.
We then queried the management and were aggressively told that these items were not actually on sale and they did not have to honour this according to consumer law.
While we were disputing the price another staff member quickly pulled the sale tags off the particular shoes in question.
Really bad vibe in this store with the staff communicating via radio which, when serving you is akin to trying to talk to someone whilst they are on a phone call, completely void of customer interaction. Clearly no one has any idea what is going on either. As a franchise, please change your approach and ditch the radios in an effort to save a few dollars.
Will never shop here again.

Online Customer service is an absolute joke. Dealing with Ella and Alison, both not helpful at all.
Ordered items online, 2 items never arrived and because I did not respond within 14 days they apparently can not do nothing.. but can still keep the money for items which were never sent even though they could not send me any proof of delivery from their end. Joke.
